Sorry but I don't quite agree. My concept is simple, the kind of domains we find are 99% of the time, have belonged to real businesses in past and as such spam free and we just download archive.org copy to replicate the site with the original content from that domain, hence no spam.

It works, but be careful what you're copying.

You can do this the white hat way too. Consider it.

I am. Master in Law and in Business Administration. That's why I had the opportunity to get a real job to earn money in a non-shady way. Like millions of other people. I would like to hear your excuse, why it is unevitable for you to earn money like you do to 'feed the family'.

1-if you consider running porn sites a non-shady way then... ;)
2-I have a degree in Networking & Data Communications.
3-Inevitable spells with i not U (so get educated).
4-where did you see me saying its inevitable for me to earn money without bh seo ?
    5-get educated a little more.

1.) I have closed the website last month because I did not like being possibly in conflict with copyrights. I did not earn a single cent with that site. A non-profit adult site is just shady if you are living in the bible belt or if you are some other kind of fundamentalist. So sorry to take away this argument from you.

2.) Great. And you did not find something non-shady with that good education? What a pity.

3.) English is not my native language. I try my best. Is that all you have?

4.) If it's not inevitable for you, then it's even worse.

5.) Again: That is all you have? Just talking big? All you are saying is "Meh! You ran a porn site! Meh! I am educated and do shady shit anyway! Meh! My english is better than your english!". Where is the beef?

There's nothing wrong with SEO. I can understand some tactics might seem shady to the untrained mind. It probably pays a lot better than your current job.

    Not that it matters.

Fraud and Snakeoil wholesale may also pay better than my current job. Still I do not do it. There is much wrong with SEO as described here. It hinders good sites with good content to get ranked as deserved.

  • 1- you failed to earn from the website and you have even tried to sell it so yeah the motive was there. quit the hypocrisy.

2- you never asked what else i do with my time so i couldn't just say to you that i run a local web design and seo business.

3-English isn't my native language either.

4-when your competitors are using worst methods to rank i don't think you are going to fold your business and get a 9-5 job.

5-stop judging people that you have no clue about.

6-i'm out, have a good night.

  • AmitzAmitz Member

At least we can agree concerning your point number 6. :-)

Oh? A site deserves to be ranked by its own merit? Really? I suppose you get mad every time you see any advertisement, because it hinders good products to get recognized as deserved...

It's simple really. You do not own the world (thank God). Ergo, you are not the judge of anything, other than the things you own. It matters exactly zero what you think the value of site/product/thing X is outside of yourself and whoever trusts your opinion.

  • I have a $5 a year plan with 1GB disk, should be fine for hosting a few wordpress sites.

Hmm mm, I wonder if I could ask Google if they could reset ranking and back link tracking if the site was down for more then 6 months to a year and require new content back links and continue to ignore all old ones.

  • @Mun
you can use the google disavow tool to disavow some or all back links to your domain.
