I say go for WHMCS, it's the best out there. But, if someone on LowEndTalk made a custom one, I would be checking that out.
As of this moment, Not the best but cost effective. I am really worried about their future.. Since the merger, development has been almost close to nil. Constant issue with network and code (including the massive php eval hack and db leak plus more. Scary. Either they are reaching their limit or about to end in modernbill way .
