[Sadness] Finally I leave Fliphost
I know them from the LET, and I began to use their services in January 2014 ... a very quick response.
The last two months I felt there was something odd about them, unlike their usual slow response.
I upgraded the HDD but no HDD until now, I still pay invoices each month (2 months).
Tried to contact them via ticket, but no response.
I decided to move to another provider.
(Keep thinking positive and support)
As I felt almost one year, they are a good provider with a good team.
Whatever happens with Fliphost, thank you for your cooperation and support for them.
The member who owned (he sold it then worked for them) / worked for fliphost here semi-recently left them. My service is still running well but it's really just storage.
They service did really go downhill, I left them a long time ago.
I still have KVM VPS and it's still running great.
@netrix yup, their network is great, but no response ticket and no additional HDD after pay on 2 month (mengerikan sih ga ada respons tiket).
I recommend opening a ticket i had a ticket that was not replied to for a while and finally got a response.
last ticket reply on 07/11/2014, then ticket is closed....on 20/11/2014 i try to open ticket, but until now no response.
i'm scare because on that server lot of client, i think i must to search new provider (got one now) and migrate.
Not good. Poor service and tech support.
Remind me one single provider that did become better after the takeover...

Are you sure that you haven't been upgraded?
Most often the vm has to be restarted from solus/virtualizor or whatever control panel they use.
A reboot made inside the container is not enough.
Otherwise you will not see the extra space

You actually got me curious, just signed a 256MB box with them to see how they'll do. The location is interesting.
So far I was charged VAT even though I updated my address and hit on the update button (I am not living in EU), ticketed them and we'll see how well they do with my first ticket

So I guess VAT or not they will charge me the full amount, not the greatest outcome but sure, I'll bite the bullet. @Nyr Let's see how it goes in a few months time.
Every provider announce the takover and say that that happened for the improvement in service, etc., etc.
Only customers got screwed.
Thats because it was never promoted since the takeover so the attackers stopped targetting.
Personally I had a nice experience with @Jack and haven't really had one with Oktay (under Virtora).
If it's otkay it'll be automatically best experience.
Yeah, there have been a few things we disagreed on but nothing major.
You made a poor decision. I am actually working on moving my stuff away from Fliphost as well.
Overall I would say Fliphost improved, at least until about 2-3 months ago.
I don't regret the original decision, I just don't like the way it looks like it is going now

PS: I meant the service was as usual, it didn't fall or affect the customer.
Things will be improved, acknowledged and apologize. For anyone else interested, happy to provide credit and fix things up if you have a real issue. As to what happened and why - don't want to drag on more drama.
For the dramas and rumors spreading - whoever it is, please stop.

@concerto49 as fas as i know, fliphost team is a good man...i still support them and maybe next time can use their service again.
