Why wouldn't it exist, what are you on about?
There is no such thing as a virtual dedicated server. It is simply named for marketing purposes.
Both the terms (VDS/VPS) represent the very same thing, actually the term VDS is considered to be older, but it never caught on as much.
With various companies like NFO you get full dedicated HT CPU core(s), while majority of other providers make you share the resources with others. This is absolutely fine for stuff like web/voice servers, but not ideal for a number of game servers.
Personally I think of VDS as the more powerful "option" (NFO in this case), but some companies tend to "abuse" the naming of their products for "marketing purposes", I give you that.
