Hello,

I was looking to buy a high end VPS, enterprise of sorts not overloaded with clients etc. Specs
8GB RAM
SSD (50GB or so)
DDoS protected (preferably BlackLotus)
Location (LA)
Looking to pay yearly or biannually (half year)
Price range within reason if possible.

Thanks.

Sorry mate, confused. What's bi-annually then? people say that.

According to google I am right.

    bi·an·nu·al (b-ny-l)
    adj.
    1. Happening twice each year; semiannual.
    2. Occurring every two years; biennial.

Technically, the difference is saying "half a year" vs "twice a year".

  • so you are wanting to pay 2 yrs in advance?

    This is how it goes..

(sorry for the uber paint skills)

According to google it's a synonym, thus I am correct. I said bi-annually not biennially.

    Here you go
"Here's what Oxford says: "Biennial and biannual are often confused. Biennial means 'occurring every two years' ( the biennial Ryder Cup tournament), while biannual means 'twice a year' ( the solstice is a biannual event).""

GETREKT, only joking. Back on topic.

Ah, you can also try Centarra in Dallas, TX (I have a node there too)

  • go with raptornode or ecovm

    raptornode.com/vps.html

They have ddos protection via blacklotus

Run by an egotistical 16 year old child, AvanteHosting is the WORST choice I ever have made regarding this server.

Either that link doesn't work or....This is a joke, but either way thanks :D..

Well not be all wise and stuff but this is how the saying goes. If you don't know the guy personally or do not know him in real life, but rather online, it is safe to say that you can believe anything that is said about them online. Due to the sheer fact other users have done the analysis for us. Therefore we can come to the conclusion that yes, you did probably act as a 16 year old before, but look at the bright side you're 19 now.
