  • @Erawan I can't believe that these are the only vps you have. im guessing you have more

  • @jcaleb , hehe... That's my current active vps :p
More than that, it's just for benchmarking purpose

  • So you guys buy VPSes just to benchmark them? Do you use them also for something productive and generating revenue?

    You should list them too

Hm.. Generating revenue from the vps? Never tried that.
I just buy the vps for separating my blog with my shared hosting. Just in case my blog got hacked, it didn't affect another users.

Do you have some idea for generating revenue? Because I don't like to put advertisement in my website. Sometimes it's annoying to see those unrelated ads.

  • @jcaleb said: You should list them too

Will try to lists them, after getting my laptop at home :D
    Still at work now.

1x 50Mb OVZ Prometeus (free for life)
1x 256Mb XEN Stylex (free for life)
1x 128Mb KVM Pyramidserver (free for life gift from @Mon5t3r)
    2x 128Mb OVZ Host1Free (free for life)
1x 512Mb OVZ SSDVM (free for life)

    1x 512Mb KVM Prometeus
    1x 32Mb OVZ IPXcore
    1x 128Mb XEN Stylex
    1x 128Mb KVM BuyVM (gift from @liam)

1x 128Mb OVZ Kimsufi (unknown free)

  • 12X Host1Free VPSes (I'm ex staff member)
    1x Pyramidserver 128mb
    4x BuyVM 256MB
    6x BuyVM Buffalo (Windows 1024mb)

  • It's ballooned a bit for me lately.

    BuyVM

    1024 OVZ (SJ, yearly)
    256 KVM (Buffalo, monthly)
    256 OVZ (SJ, yearly)
    128 OVZ (Buffalo, yearly)

    BudgetVM

    1024 OVZ (monthly)

    SecureDragon

    128 OVZ (yearly)

I'm experimenting with the KVM to see how I like it compared to the OVZ. I'm only going to end up keeping one of them. The BudgetVM might stay or go depending on performance. As soon as I wrap up the project I'm working on now I'll start putting it through its paces. The SD is a definite keeper.

  • Load-balanced multiplayer minesweeper.

  • everything on http://status.d3vm.net/ and 1 tinyvz $15/yr that isn't used.

  • lol, you guys are out of control. I envy all of you for finding use for 20+ LEB machines at any given time. Wish I had more time in the day to work on some of my pet projects for LEB VPSs.

  • @jcaleb :
I've cancelled the other vps. But forgot to add this to my collections :

    OVH
    - 1 x 128MB

    Provider Service
    - 1 x 512MB XEN

    Host1Free
    - 1 x 128 MB
