Specifically for our JingLing/HitLeap optimized image, the %TEMP% for the Temporary Internet Files and Windows Temporary File Store has been moved to a RAMDisk to prevent issues where Disk I/O could be abused from these softwares.

How about on Ubuntu? If possible, please post a DD. I know many people here don't need it, but I do.

Let's put it this way, and this will be my last post on this:

If your TOS states: "We do not allow the running of Microsoft products on non-spla licensed servers and if you are found to be running such you will suspended and removed from the system", now the customer is liable for running any type of illegally licensed software on your server as your TOS forbids this use.

By simply allowing them to do so because, "I can't stop them and just because I tell them it is not allowed does not mean they will not do it", still places legal responsibility for the inappropriately used licenses on you, the owner of the server.

Another example (and yes it may be poorly worded and even a horrible example, but the hope is it gets the point across):

This is like saying to me, "I sell prescription pills and if you need one, just let me know. They aren't for kids, but hey, if you really want them meet me in the back alley and we will pretend it never happened. You want 10 of them? This probably isn't safe, but if you have the money...I am sure you will go and buy them from someone else if I don't sell to you, so here you go." This isn't legal, but you didn't get caught, right? So not your problem, right? Well when the kid overdoses, guess whose door they are going to be at?

Now on the other hand, if you are a doctor who prescribes medicine to someone legally and you have outlined the specific uses of it to the customer and they go and use it irresponsibly, the responsibility for breaking the law now lies with end user and not you as the provider as you outlined the specific uses and the patient (consumer in this case) agreed to those stipulations when accepting the prescription (service).

If Microsoft shows up and audits you, throwing your arms in the air and insisting you didn't know is not legal protection against them suing or fining you, but I digress.

    Cheers!

@TheLinuxBug I think GoodHosting already has it

    @TheLinuxBug

I don't see anyone complaining in any of the other threads that offered the exact same such as http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/31989/windows-or-linux-kvm-vps-1gb-ram-at-5-30-off being the most recent. I don't think it's fair to attack us out of everyone else, when our ToS already covers this.

As requested, various disk tests (even though they don't mean much):

Is it possible to use hitleap template on higher plans?

  • GoodHostingGoodHosting Member
    edited July 2014

Yes, you can use the HitLeap template on higher plans; but the disk size will not resize on its own, you must make changes to the disk inside Windows (via Disk Management) to manually resize the partition Windows is installed on.

and what's the cost for additional IPs?

Additional IPv4 addresses are at a cost of $1.01 per. Customized pricing for larger blocks is also possible.

  • Great offer! Is it possible for Ci1 plan using the coupon? :)

Perhaps yearly, otherwise the value is simply too low (PayPal would get more than 50% of the total you paid.)

  • Probably @MCNPhil got some pain in ass :) but really not a big deal, Nebula cloud is really straightforward crazyness thing like never seen before, not recommend for novices..

  • i think it is scam, i paid 3 days ago and also write a support ticket. but they didnt answer it and didnt activate my vps. i lost my money.

    Hello @origimiturk ,

Can you please tell me your ticket number so I can check on the issue?

As well, this is not our current thread.

  • @GoodHosting #SGT-7212-OIA is my ticket

  • Bought Enterprise Cloud (Nebula) - JingLing Special (5 Links / 1GB) but there is no jingling template in the nebula. Also support tickets are unanswered for several days now.
