@subigo, hope they ain't reading this forum..
But its a dolllar; not a extensive amount;
Let them read the forum... they don't know which account is mine. I have accounts with a lot of providers on here (some who specialize in "fraud prevention") and they have no idea.
@subigo >_> Good to know.
Watchout Guys ! We got a FraudStar Over here.!(http://i0.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/200/420/BRTky.jpg)
Just got my account set up.
Created a server and got the .53 IP from the same /24 they have their web and mail servers, probably the only range they have assigned :P
@LAKid Faster in what way?
Doesn't seem too fast bandwidth-wise judging by @jarland's test, but I guess that's what you get for a dollar :P
It's good for me...
Those tested locations often aren't flattering. I'll do buyvm with the same later for comparison. Their network is fine and those results often don't look wonderful.
Thread's still on WHT, btw: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1162701
Yeah they made a new one. Previous one said free vps.
Buyvm for comparison on the bandwidth. Not amazing either, way better, but just to show some of these locations aren't flattering.

Beat you to it:
So I decided to take a shot and try out the VPS, what the heck, it is just a buck
And the VPS was activated instantly, they are part of this AS35916 MULTACOM CORPORATION, which I have no idea what it is, but it seems to have really good bandwidth mix though:

Any other test you would like me to do, feel free to post.
just got an account from them. They're actually quite cool and i might get their larger paid plans with CDN just for content delivery. I just wish they had specs when ordering their plans.
Their spec and speed are better than 50% of LET providers.
so far.
Their support was quite friendly when I ticketed over my setup issue. Even responded to their own response asking if I needed anything before they closed the ticket. I always appreciate a friendly attitude. Not gonna call them a quality provider on day one, but I'm certainly not going to say anything bad about them right now. I'll monitor this vps and use it a little for a month or two. If they do well, I'll consider an upgrade.
is this one time $1 for lifetime or what? can someone confirm it? thanks
So long as they're not lying about it, that is what is being offered.
@Jarland I guess its real.
I asked them via Live Chat about the 1 dollar setup.
Pie >Hi I was wondering what is with the Free Cloud VPS package
Pie >is it 1 dollar setup and that's it?
Kasra >the $1 is a one time setup fee to prevent fraud and abuse.
Kasra >After that there is no monthly cost.
I still feel a bit iffy but I might give it a shot. What do I have to lose?
1$ :P
Seems i got suspeded for not using the same mail on my paypal as my account.... probably worked out now?
lol... their entire network is down.
yeah that's sad they must be struggling with so many abuser right now
On their website now
Ahmed >Hello,How may i help you?
Daniel >Hello
Daniel >i ordered a vps which Kasra activated for me
Daniel >but the vps is still pending
Daniel >then your website went offline while kasra would fix it
Ahmed >yes we were under huge DDoS
