Actually, it's an example of this...
The inequality is what's talking there, RM.
Kids make the mistake of arguing that age has no importance (because they're not in the aged group). When they're included it's like 4chan, instead.
Why?
Peer pressure.
They need to "fit in". Separate kids from each other, they're the most manageable population known -- no real identity yet, and no internal compass to know what are social norms, too. Easily manipulated too.
Moral: Being smart =/= being wise.
Anyone can be smart. Experience only comes from time.
And seem to have wasted your time. Too bad, see you in the next life.
LEGENDARY BURN
Naw, feel like a den mom watching the kiddies...
I snip, it's more satisfying. XD
Hey that's tantamount to elder abuse! Stop picking on us old guys!
Ah, sorry pops.
It's just one of your Backgammon buddies from the park is having a senior moment, keeps trying to tell us about those "back in my day" stories.
Welly sonny, I hate to break this to you, but there's a park bench somewhere in your future....
*yawns
Back in my day, internet bandwidth was too precious to be wasted on thread derailment.
This reminds me of a joke (nobody get butthurt, it's only a joke).
Yeah, I thought I knew everything by 20 but learned to reign myself in. Experience counts for a lot, but so does ingenuity (which tends to come from younger people that aren't burdened by being pragmatic about things for so long). I guess the smart arses will be coding the future web from scratch rather than just stealing the ideas of their elders ;o)
I like the "true" LEBs. I have some custom written C programs that take less than a MB each and don't suck on CPU or IO much. Therefore, offering me multiples of IO, CPU, memory, bandwidth doesn't benefit me at all. Stability and availability are where the 'value' is, for me, alongside a dirt cheap price of course.
That's not the problem (granny has a mean 10gauge).
THE problem is all the kids are JAILBAIT!
As were you once. Now behave and stop giving the young people a hard time.
Here is a LEB if anyone is interested.
