Do you often think about throwing your money into a fire?
@Microlinux So you mean it is shit?
I'm interested in theirs dedicated servers. Do they have a re-install possibility through control panel ?
I've never used them, but I wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole based on what I've heard. Search WHT.
I think i will try them for a month.
You will need to give it 2 months, it will take close to a month to deliver the server before you can try it.
Alright. However i will try it.
Have fun with single homed Cogent
I'm tickled to death with my OVH dedicated server. I recommend you check them out. It'll make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Go for it!
T-Minus 31 days to scam report.
Nah, T-5 when the server does not get delivered and they stop responding to tickets.
I've had a dedi with volumedrive for a coupe months now.. service is not too bad, I'm pretty happy with my server. I never tried their VPS so not sure if it's any good.
Tech Support is good during regular business hours 9AM-5PM Mon-Fri anything after that is somewhat slow..
They do have their share of packet loss, I think cause it's cogent based and datashack, wholesaleinternet seem to experience this as well, but at least with volumedrive my server does not seem get rebooted like they do with DS and WSI..
If it's just for a hobby site or a test box I'm sure you will be more than happy with it.
VolumeDrive is absolutely awful.
I'd rather have a well managed single-homed network than a poorly managed multi-homed network. Although I think where Volumedrive it's definitely a case of buyer beware.
You're one to talk. Last time I checked, VolumeDrive didn't get its own separate forums for people to complain about service.
Ok. As per your signature I won't feed you.
they're better than burstnet!
Aren't they supposed to be getting another link(extra connection) here sometime soon?
Fixed that for you.
stay away from VD. Have they even fixed their lawsuit with burst.net?
For so many reasons that is very true.
Give them a 2-months try. 1 for deliver and 1 for waiting ticket response
I wonder if there is anyone in the world who is happily using VD?
There's this guy.
Ah but he said "service is not too bad" I'm kinda expecting "The service is exceptional" :P
Yes, I'm quite happy with it.. at least I can honestly say that cause I actually have a service with volumedrive and for my needs it's more than fine.
I got a virtual capable AMD dual core CPU, 4 GB ram 5 IP's, 3 X 250GB drives with 100Mbit unmetered for $22/mo. quite the deal I think!
I'm currently experiencing more problems with my server from Datashack and wholesaleinternet than I am with volumedrive!
