Intronet Servers review [Positive]

Hi,

I've been with Intronet Servers for about 2 weeks now, and it's working great now. I've bought 2 UltraVPS'es for $12/yr. The server is running fast with 8 cores on a Xeon E3 CPU. The support isn't very fast, but very helpful. They are friendly and will do everything for you.

Benchmark: https://www.petabyet.com/result/2014-04-11-baf9fa44649cf036cbc114aafab0178a/

This was an short review op Intronet Servers, just want to say i am very happy with them :)

16Gb of ram on a 32GB E3 for $1/month. Hell, that makes GVH look good.

Definitely overselling, after reading the benchmarks and the providers site i have a couple of questions:

    1. how much memory and CPU will you be able to use once a node gets filled with clients?
    2. how the nodes get filled, how much per load will be accepted in order to balance all the clients.
    3. What is their policy on abuse and what is abuse, their TOS is lacking some information.

@Juanako Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1270 V2 @ 3.50GHz 8 cores available to use, DD speed is around 1GB/s even with a large test file, so quite good actually.

U seem to have been assigned a bad node? So far mine is ok and loving it. Ping from sg is 238 to 248ms.

  • Am I having a stroke or people here are actually buying a 16GB VPS on a 32GB node for $12/year?

What is wrong with you people?

This is GVH's marketing tactics taken to it's logical extreme.

If it was still $12 I'd buy it just to murder the node and teach everyone else who purchased it a lesson.

There is one with 4GB ram 6 CPUs for $10/year: IntroVPS

I could rape the cores easy enough with a bit of transcoding via Plex of SubSonic, but I'd expect a kick for that from any host. Molesting 4GB RAM 24/7 probably won't even get noticed given that I'd guess the majority of containers are idling.
