Yes i know those site, as i stated on the original post, this is for monthly billing VPS not yearly.
Fair enough, it's a good reference point if you want to look at each of them to see monthly offers.
Not to skip the obvious but this search (although not every result) brings up a lot of monthly deals. https://www.google.ca/search?q=vps+openvz+$1...$2+month ... though I have found the more reliable ones are actively advertising on here or wht.

Where do you get a RamNode box for 2 bucks? minimum I see is 4 or so.
Our VPS package starts at $9.95/year which is $0.83/month. 5 locations and next week 6 in Chicago, IL
$24/12 = $2/mo. That's their smallest OpenVZ plan (128MB).
