zap-hosting offers lifetime server that you only pay for once (high initial price) and then need to open the product in panel every 3-4 months to keep it.

They now switch to a new control panel where you get backups for your servers, don't need to open the product to keep it and also a AI that can interact with the controls instead of you doing it yourself. If you want that, you need to pay a monthly fee, up to 16€/m depending on how many lifetime servers you have.

Yes, I have a bunch and there is also a thread on LES with a few people having a bunch too. It is very stable, support answers between 5-15 minutes, if the AI auto answer isn't good enough, which is most of the time good enough. They somehow got it right. They also patch vulnerabilities very fast, for example their PHP version on all webhosting offers were patched in, I think, 30 minutes or so.

Has anyone posted yabs for it?

This is one of mine with a few apps on it running in parallel

No, it is not required, as explained in the post you literally linked :D

The post literally says if you don't pay monthly then your server will be locked.

Now I see why u so eager to defend that's either one hell of a deal, or a large downpayment for it.

Sad it won't be for a life-time enjoy while u have access.

Now I see why u so eager to defend that's either one hell of a deal, or a large downpayment for it.

Sad it won't be for a life-time enjoy while u have access.

I paid 400€ for this one and already used it for ~2 years, imo it already paid off. To be honest, depending on how many lifetime servers you got, it might be worth the migration anyway. The 14,99€/m for unlimited lifetime servers with 5 backups each doesn't sound that bad.

No, it is not required, as explained in the post you literally linked :D

The post literally says if you don't pay monthly then your server will be locked.

Like explained before, it will be locked, when you don't pay for it anymore. If you don't migrate in the first place, this doesn't affect you.

Hello I'm old, I would like a tldr of what both is. Fanks

zap-hosting offers lifetime server that you only pay for once (high initial price) and then need to open the product in panel every 3-4 months to keep it.

They now switch to a new control panel where you get backups for your servers, don't need to open the product to keep it and also a AI that can interact with the controls instead of you doing it yourself. If you want that, you need to pay a monthly fee, up to 16€/m depending on how many lifetime servers you have.

Has anyone bought one and tested it? I'm curious if anyone has had a positive or negative experience with the lifetime VPS plan.

I just knew with those spec's you'd say migration was worth it, good luck with those new terms once migrated those prices can change anytime ;)

I won't, but it might be worth it for some people. I do agree with you, that if you migrate, you fucked up, even tho I don't agree with your last message regarding the law, but I suspect you to not trust the court / laws anyway, so I didn't bother commenting on it again.

  • so much for "lifetime" vps/dedi from zap-host

Been through court both against someone, and to defend myself.

I've seen the system fail on the outside and inside, i've seen judge's personal feeling sway his judgement humans are humans the system is flawed as humans are.

So yes I disagree and distrust of all general populations money spenders.

I've seen lifetime offers turn to non-lifetime...all these deals, like tears in the rain...
