Ticket #UDT-520586 Could you please respond to this support ticket? Thank you!
nice
This is NOT a VDS but a VPS.
OP as a provider is unable/not willing to comprehend this. That itself is a red flag. All who paid, should ask for a refund or else you are asking for frustration in longer term.
thanks
Could you please explain the situation regarding the payment I made? You received the funds, but I have neither received the VPS nor a refund and you don’t respond to tickets.
All I am asking for is the removal of the false statement on your website.
Also, waiting for the day ANY provider can state I have "abused" their services.
Hint: won't happen, I am not that kind of user. I just really hate when providers make false statements on their website then try to justify it.
You ordered Virtual Private Server Deal 1 and used a discount code so you only paid €2 You requested a refund for that amount and as I explained we have already processed your refund as account balance credit
If you would prefer to receive the refund through your original payment method please open a support ticket requesting a withdrawal of the credited funds and we will review your request
Thanks!
You're welcome anytime
As I explained these are dedicated cores but that doesn't mean you can abuse them by constantly pushing them to 100% as this can affect the performance of the entire CPU and the other customers sharing the same hardware
We also offer unlimited bandwidth under a fair usage policy which means your usage must remain reasonable and within our terms Using proxies or VPNs without our authorization is not permitted
You purchased a VPS and we expect it to be used normally and responsibly without attempting to abuse the resources or bypass our policies
Hello we will review it as soon as possible
Dedicated core, by definition, lets me use it 100% of the time.
I did not purchase and will not purchase a service from you if you can't comprehend the meaning of basic words.
Well, tell us what exactly would cause the dedicated cores to reach 100% usage?
@YassineB
There are plenty of legitimate workloads like software compilation, FFmpeg transcoding, rendering, and data compression..... etc that can sustain 100% CPU usage for hours or even days. That's perfectly normal and doesn't constitute abuse.
The whole point of dedicated cores is having exclusive access to the allocated CPU capacity, including sustained 100% utilization. U advertise dedicated cores but somehow consider fully utilizing them abuse cuz it might affect other customers. That's an issue with ur resource allocation or isolation, not the customer's workload. Especially on a Ryzen 9 9950X, where physical cores and SMT threads aren't the same thing.
U cant advertise dedicated CPU resources and then expect customers to leave part of their allocated capacity unused. Any such restrictions should be clearly stated upfront. If sustained 100% usage of the advertised cores is considered abuse, then what ur offering is effectively a shared CPU VPS with usage restrictions, not the dedicated CPU service ur advertising.
Handbrake encoding via CPU which is the most common scenario since encoding itself is CPU hungry process. My VDS runs 100% all the time.
Having said that, in your dictionary, what is the difference between dedicated and non dedicated core?
Since broth can not be used 100%, how do you differentiate between the two?
I did open 3 tickets and ask for refund. No response. I don’t want any credit with you. I want my money back with original payment method.
Okay, please open a ticket requesting to withdraw the credit to your original payment method.
and even if it were just 1 cent, thats information thats nobody's business, but you are posting it here publicly. that gives people deep insight into you and your business. in short: better not do business with you. stay away!
Thanks!
this is messy. lol.
Childish service.
Nothing is messy, but I don't have time to argue with people who want a cheap VPS while abusing CPU resources and network bandwidth, using up to 30 TB of traffic per day. We need to protect our infrastructure and focus on customers who respect our services and terms of use.
I don't abuse CPU best price monthly for 16IP's 1 core, 2GB mail server?
The fact that the service has limits isn't the problem. The false advertising as dedicated, and poor attitude are.
I'll take everything into consideration tonight
Please create an account on our website and open a support ticket there
@angstrom @dp please talk some sense into this guy
I with you, but no need to hound it's clear now from replies imo not the only VDS provider here that imposes CPU restrictions for long-term pinning.
VDS imo should mean dedicated cores, but to many providers have interpreted this to semi-private cores such as a VPS but less strict.
So tldr; what's new providers using buzzwords to drive traffic, they are honest about it atleast.
No IPv6 hall of shame
Include IPv6 for no extra cost on every plan in every location to get delisted.
Provider supplied looking glass and network benchmark reports must also demonstrate IPv6 reachability.
It’s been several days since I submitted the support ticket. Why haven’t I received a response yet?
it IS messy, because:
1. You shouldn't share any customer's finance. even 1 cents.
2. you failed to differentiate between fair use and dedicated.
3. you failed to answer some simple questions, such is it fair to use 200TB per month for 10gbps port, also is it allowed to use 90% of CPU 24/7 on those "dedicated" cores? if not, then 80%? if yes, then 95%? or better: say it clearly.
4. We asked for transparent, it doesn't mean that we all will use 90% "dedicated" CPU or 200TB/month. but you failed to see the differences.
