miss a good prize
Just wanted to say @netfront is my favourite provider!
Gonna use it for a discord bot that monitors my uptime
@Saragoldfarb important news don't miss
Amazingly I ended up winning despite my slim chances and being in the reserve at #4! My very first prize here on LET for a server's value of US$94.39/year!
I can't thank @netfront enough!
Features:
- The network is limited to 300Mbps/37.5 MB
- I also got an IPv6 straight away, which is pretty cool!
- Egress TCP port 25 is unblocked too~
- swap is allowed
- Unlimited snapshots are allowed! Pretty cool too!
Here are the YABS:
Wonderful. Welcome to the club.
well congRATs to @suyadi92 @Saragoldfarb @imiko @jcn50
Did you deploy your RSS aggregator yet?
so nice
Yes. Fusion RSS.
How is yours going?
i did message you already, thanks!
With my lack of discussion, I thought I had won the lottery
What a shame.
If I'm lucky enough to win this $1/year server, I'll use it as my little container hub and a central monitoring node. Really hoping I can win this one! Fingers crossed!
。。。。
I played with it but didn't have time to deploy my private VPN/proxy (yet)! It doesn't offer Alpine Linux from the control panel so I had to use the
bin456789repo.Thanks @netfront

miss a good prize
Hell yeah! What a day! Server seems to be active. Will report back once I set up!
Looking impressive. Didn't add swap so doubt GB6 will finish (spoiler : it didn't).Judging from yabs shown before, shouldn't be far off. Great lowend spec sever in an 'exotic' location.
I have two other servers in HK from another provider. This one is up to par. Let's see how stable it will turn out to be overtime.
So far: impressed!
If I am able to secure one, would prefer to use it as dedicated anti-ad DNS or reverse proxy; either of the two.
I plan to use it to host my blog
If possible, I'd like to use this $1 VPS to test scripts and network setups, mainly for learning.
Would love a shot at this one. If I get it, I'd use the HK box as a monitoring and maintenance node for the servers I already run - uptime checks and health probes from outside my own network, plus a small cron runner for scheduled backup jobs and cert renewal checks. Having a cheap always-on node in HK close to the CN side is handy for that, and it keeps those jobs off the machines they monitor. Not planning anything fancy - just a tidy little helper box I can leave running for a year.
good chicken congrats
I feel discriminated
我将搭建私人的vps作为中转器,连接其他海外ip(比如洛杉矶),最终的目的是能够搭建纯净的网络环境并注册ai账号接触目前比较高级的ai服务

I'm truly sorry, I'm a newbie and I didn't mean to offend anyone. Here's my original comment: I'll be using a private VPS as a gateway to connect to other overseas IPs (like Los Angeles). The ultimate goal is to create a disruptive network environment and register an AI account to access more advanced AI services.
