Our managed hosting is an app hosting service, not a VPS. If you already have a VPS or dedicated server, our new Bring Your Own Hardware option lets you use it instead.

We test our catalog, but upstream app updates can sometimes introduce issues. BYOH is also a beta, so feedback and bug reports are welcome.

Any plans on expanding your VPS locations?
Does BYOH also do auto updates, etc.?
Not currently at this time. Our next plan is to expand our storage options within our apps and virtual servers.
Yes BYOH supports all of the same features our current managed apps do.
The only exception at the moment is backups.

The simplest answer no. System updates and security patches are up to the byoh customer.
So explain to me like I'm a politically-incorrect word windows user why I would use BYOH? If I already have a host, surely I can run any app I want to on it? I mean if I'm a politically-incorrect word windows user I can just run a sketchy-as-fuck docker-compose from some random virus-ridden blog - and that won't be any harder than running a point-n-click installer, but doesn't require me to install what amounts to a rootkit on my machine.
How is the networking route being utilized? Will the host IP address be exposed or stay behind your ingress network?
That's completely up to you. Even with BYOH we have the option to never expose your IP. So yes from a public standpoint your hardware stands behind our network.

Not at this time. However you able to purchase two and we can combine the resources for you. Simply open a support ticket and we will take care of you.

On customer portal, the Dashboard page. Cloud Apps currently display only number of applications in the official subscription, not from BYOH servers. Do you think this should change or leave it as is?

I wanted to purchase a VPS from your website. I made the payment and the service was successfully purchased, but I made a mistake during the purchase and accidentally bought a Cloud App instead of a VPS.
Would it be possible to cancel the service and get a refund?

So far I’ve gotten a few of these plans on sale for running various apps and I’ve been extremely happy with the service and support! Now I have even switched a lot of my vps hosting over to them as well.
The owner is extremely active on discord and is constantly adding new supported self hosted apps and vps templates as people request them.
This is really the best of both worlds of using a cloud service but still self hosting your applications and having administrative access over them and control of your own data. What’s really cool is you can even host the panel on your server for 4 apps as a free trial. You get to manage your cloud apps and your own server apps from the same location and can transfer them back and forth. The cost of a full server is not too bad either, so if you already have a dedicated server or vps you can use the same panel and services to manage as many applications as you want locally.
Cannot highly recommend them enough! New features are constantly being added and it’s really cool to see so many of them come from my requests.
For what it’s worth you can also combine plans which I have been doing. So you can buy multiple from this offer and have them merged into one big shared pool of resources.
