if you have a friend there, you can ask him/her.. i think everyone in there know the clue for this stuff. and you must live here (Jogja), i don't know if its work too in different city.
You can probably blame mirrors.kernel.org for that. Their mirror is often quite slow and overloaded.
http://mirror.anl.gov/ is generally quick as it's easily the most powerful and fastest connected mirror server in the US.
I'm very curious about this, I'll have to try a couple of these. Tired of the slow US Debian mirror.
