[WTS/Advice] Looking for a stable/low-latency VPS for CN direct connection (Budget: <$4/mo)

6886668866 Member

Hi everyone,
I am looking for a reliable VPS provider that meets the following requirements:
Budget: Strictly under $4 USD per month.
Network: Must have optimized routes for mainland China (CN2 GIA, AS4837, or AS9929 preferred).
Performance: Looking for a stable connection during peak hours.
Payment: Supports Alipay/WeChat Pay (highly preferred).
Usage: Personal proxy (VLESS + REALITY).
I am aware that low-cost plans are often out of stock, but I am open to any provider that is currently available and has a decent reputation for stability.
Does anyone have any current recommendations or a specific provider that fits these criteria? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Are you aware that will result in 100-200GB or so?

These have 4837, if you want CN2 GIA, you need a higher budget.

May I ask whether the contract guarantees a direct connection and what the packet loss rate is?

Yes you will always have a direct connection via China Mobile and or China Telecom.

Packet loss rate depends on time of day and which network in China you're connecting to.

I only require stability and reliability on my end — a guaranteed direct connection like 4837, with no packet loss even during peak evening hours. If the SLA is assured, I'm willing to pay around $10 per month, and I'm also fine with a semi-annual payment plan. As for specs, I can accept lower configurations, as long as there's at least 2GB of RAM.

That is not possible at all, not even CN2 GIA can offer 0% packet loss.

GLWR, we can't help you here.

  • You actually don’t need to ask!Just go ahead and grab it.You are a greedy MJJ.

I'm not saying packet loss needs to be zero, but can your optimized 4837 route keep it under 10%? Or even lower?

My Smokeping shows, in latest 10 days, the average packet loss rate for Tcpping was 0.96%. (20 times per minute). The outbound route is 4837, and the return route is 9929.
The same probe recorded a rate of 0.93% for optimized XTom SJC, which has both inbound/outbound route AS9929.
