Can someone @DeluxHost explain to me: all your client servers are completely down, but your website is working perfectly and you keep selling access to non-functional VPS?
I paid just yesterday, and the result is that nothing works—not even a ping gets through, port 80 is dead; basically, everything is dead.
Knowing this, you process invoices/orders and launch new servers—how can that possibly be explained?
They live in their own parallel reality. 😄
Everything is literally saturated with lies, just like the lie about happy Discord users and about only 3–4 people being unhappy here, and even then it's unclear why they're unhappy, since everyone else is happy
I have 7 VPS servers with Deluxhost, and I'd have more if they were in stock. And up until this week, I was pretty satisfied and happy with them.
Obviously, you can’t expect 100% uptime at these prices, and it’s understandable that these things can happen, so people should stay calm and always have a Plan B but I hope things can go back to how they were a week ago because I was pretty satisfied. We trust you.
I have a DeluxHost VPS for over a year now, and I must say, the last week it finally does what I expect it to do - this wasn't the case before. Downtimes, network issues, high CPU steal, etc. Now it does what it should do. I turned it off just over 7 days ago.
New day, new issues. Drama keeps rolling on
UDP port availability back online.
Network connectivity is still messy.
And im experiencing a "little bit" high cpu steal time now xD

@DK87 Lucky you. Mine won't even start today.
The Amsterdam VPS downs 20-30 times a day. This has been happening for a month now.
From one (back) into the other problem...
Website is working because it's behind cloudflare proxy.
Although I agree it's kinda off to keep selling instances in this situation.
But you have to keep things in perspective here. We're talking about a service that costs a YEAR the same as a month's service compared to anything else on the market. You simply cannot expect the same reliability, support response times, or infrastructure redundancy that you'd get from a provider charging 10 or 12 times more. That is not an opinion, that is just how this industry works.
If this company were acting in bad faith, they would have ghosted everyone by now, shut down the forums, stopped replying to tickets, and taken the money. The fact that they are still here, still explaining, still working that actually means something. I have been with hosts that literally disappeared overnight. This is not that.
Meanwhile, Discord users:

You shouldn't think that.
I have one server in Europe since 2022, costing $18 per year, slightly worse in terms of technical characteristics, but at the moment it has not been turned off for a single minute for more than 107 days. That's why I renew it every year.
My other European server, which is comparable in price and characteristics, turns off 1-3 times a month for 2-5 minutes.
There is also a server in the USA for $7 per year. Since Black Friday last year, it has also never been turned off.
Apparently, it still depends not on the price of the server, but on the hoster that provides it.
That's not true; there are enough other cheap hosters that do a great job
I cannot expect what you mention in an AND relation. What I can expect is a descent uptime and a descent performing VPS.
But you're talking about perspective. The issues with this hoster are ongoing for quite some time. It's not a single incident that is solved after hours or even a day.
@DeluxHost can i get a partial refund for my vps? performance and uptime still dont satisfy me
third time asking now
This provider has never been stable and always has problems, even compared to others who offered similar prices on Black Friday, like Dedirock, albeit in the US. They offer better configuration, servers, and speed for the same price, while special plans offer lower prices. I'm also wondering if technical issues with servers, such as DDOS, take so many days to resolve—is this a complete failure to fulfill services and agreements? If your services are unusable, at least partially refund your money.
I have the same problem with even the simplest services; they never worked reliably and I just kept them because returns are never possible and this provider loudly declared this from the very beginning of sales.
Back to business my VPS is up and running 💨
😎
At ColoCrossing earlier this year there was an incident too, 4 days completely down and all data lost. I migrated everything to HostSlick without any promotional pricing and the same thing happened a few weeks later, 5 days down and everything gone. With Massive and Chunk there have not been any extended outages but downtime lasting a few hours is pretty common.
With DeluxHost at least I was able to recover the important data, and up until this week my uptime had been basically 100%. If you change the DNS settings and restart, incoming traffic starts working again. If you route through Cloudflare WARP in proxy mode you can back up whatever you want to save, in my case at least it was slow but it was possible.
Hopefully they recover and get back to normal like they were a week ago.

For me the VM is already down for 4h 46m 28s according to LibreNMS... Uptime Kuma says the same even a reboot doesn't do ****
same here
Same
One provider was offering 7$ anually with Ryzen 9 and right now it has 150 day of uptime.
All working for me. Thx
