The problem with VPS providers in exotic locations, you keep running up against their FUP. I genuinely like Greencloud, but you have to remember that you are paying for exactly half of the resources that show up in your invoice. So you have to think about software you deply, etc. When you roll your own dedicated server... nobody is throttling you for using too many CPU cores for too long.
OVH dedis in APAC has traffic limited to 25TB. So, there's exception on the bandwidth department
Bandwidth in APAC is an unsolvable problem though. (At least not cheaply.) You're going to run into the same thing with VPS providers.
