  • How can a LEB host make profit from selling VPS in UK/EU ? There's offers for $15/yr, and the IPv4 costs more than that from most colo/dedi providers. I can only presume these guys had a good allocation for some time.

I hope IPv6 brings prices down

Mostly, using their own allocations or renting them from cheap places (there are some in Europe too).

Anyway, many hosts are not profiting much (or at all) from such low end offers.

As long as they keep getting people buying those annual packages, they can afford them. The problem only comes when those package's sales start slow down.

  • DigitalOcean before getting IPv4 space officially from RIPE were using ARIN IPv4 space in their Netherlands location.
