internet.bs
Not the cheapest but neither badly expensive, and reliable and neutral (no political games), in short what I expect and want from a registrar (or any company for that matter).
I also have a few domains with porkbun, but will transfer them away due to them playing political games instead of simply doing their job (plus too much marketing spam).
Re. Gandi: used them years ago but left them because they got worse (really, really bad and also corrupted). Never again.
I'll also keep my eyes on spaceship as they have lots of fans here, we'll see whether they change due to new ownership.
P.S. @fluffernutter why are nonsensical registrars like e.g. epic in the poll but not internet.bs?
Way too many but I'm working on that. Currently Cloudflare, Spaceship, regery, internet.bs, & Porkbun.
Trying to migrate as much as possible to CF, Porkbun and Regery but some TLDs are so insultingly more expensive (like 2 x or more) at all but 1 or 2 registrars and I'm poor so you gotta do what you gotta do -.-
Spaceship, DynaDot, Sav
I mostly use Cloudflare for just DNS, I wouldn’t know what other DNS host to use that has all modern features and is free
Namecheap
didn't expect njalla to be this popular, considering all the hate they seem to get

SPACESHIP
Going fully openprovider, saves me a shitton of money
the two WORST registrars have been namecheap and godaddy
expect to be injured
porkbun is not warning users dot help cannot have private whois
Can I say none?
Long live eu.org
Actually no. EU is starting to fall apart. Leaders will need money, so most likely price will increase there too.
For my personal domains: InternetBS, Namecheap, Dynadot and IncogNET for the domains we are accredited to sell (ST, PW, GD, GL, FO, VG).
I think I have one or two in porkbun from domain auctions. I should check.
Dude nic.eu.org is a free domain registrar since 1996
spaceship
Wherever the cheapest is, I'll be there lol. My .click is on amazon aws since its dirt cheap $3/year there. Got to use third party dns server though since they charge $6/year per hosted zone.
Still using Earthlink here. Have been since the dialup days.
SpaceShip offer some of the cheapest new or transfer domain, so I use it
Porkbun, the second one
Namesilo, some domains still there, but may be moved out the next renewal
+1 Dynadot
Dynadot has full whois privacy for free.
using or used: porkbun, sav, spaceship, dynadot, namesilo, hostinger, bigrock, namecheap, internetbs, gandi
blacklist: one.com
I like Dynadot. Most of my names are with Dynadot and Namecheap. But I also uses Spaceship (they are also namecheap) and porkbun here and there.
It's better to keep the domain registrar separate from other hosting services. Like they say, don't keep all baskets in one apple..
Spaceship is great but now they are hallucinating - if i search for a domain hey.tg on spaceship, it will suggest hey.io for 31$ - https://ibb.co/fGS97rTP
You are searching for a tld that the registrar does not support. What do you expect?
You can even search for any other, its same response. I am just giving an example.
