What justification do they need? Did they increase pricing for clients with old special deals? No? So what's the deal then?

The old deal was way, way below market price, and plenty of us took advantage of that. This deal is more realistic, but still good value for the quality they offer.
Once you start, you don't know when to quit. There's no need to thrash their sales thread just because the current deal is more realistic than the old ones.

nothing is being criticized here. it is simply pointing out that, for reasons that are unclear, the cost of a identical “service” has increased by 60% within a few months.

On a forum like this, if you raise the price, you'll attract very little. 90% of the people here want a server for $7 a year.

So generally speaking the offers here are much much better then what we have posted today from your point of view?

It wasn't a criticism, but the last thing that matters in this forum is price increases.

  • Really nice deals, glws <3.

  • Respect for not raising the price for existing customers, that’s something not many companies do. GLWS.

Oh okay, so the issue rather lies in the fact that we have posted better offers in the past?

Actually i inspired alec from informaten recently to post here as well as some other new providers that have been active in the past few months.

Looks like i should warn my friends at least about the implication of doing some too good to be true offers too fast if it really seems to backfire that much.
We will see, i think it should be easy to keep this offer up for some weeks to draw some conclusions then

Thanks for explaining it to me

This statement is false. Their prices haven't increased. They are exactly the same as last time: https://prohosting24.net/vpsplans

The current deal at LET is still a special deal, LET offer, much cheaper than their regular prices, so I really don't know what you're on about.
There's almost no host that keeps offering the same special offer prices all the time. Some have even very special, one-time deals, and then go back to regular deals, and so on...
Stop acting like they owe you something. You're barking up the wrong tree and you don't know when to quit.

I don't have any problems with that. You can sell your services for as little as $10 a month. When I find a good offer, I'll take one.
I repeat, I consider you a premium service.

you can't blame me for your ignorance. i didn't compare the regular website prices, but (see earlier in the thread) the offer from a few months ago with the same specifications as the current offer. and – even the dumbest person can see that – the price has risen from €4.95 to €7.95. that's all that was established, nothing more and nothing less.

knife to meet you... that's how we say it in the desolate lowlands of serbia!

  • You did exactly the same with GreenCloudVPS when they offered the German VPS deal. This particular package was available for half a day, but once sold out you started to complain how they don't care for old customers, and you moaned for a whole week completely ignoring the fact that you were online and had hours and hours to purchase it.
There was even a counter showing how many VPSes were available but for some reason you didn't pull the plug and then annoyed them for days, as if it were their fault that you were waiting for the servers to be sold out.
What I want to say is: stop. You said it once, you said it twice... how long will you annoy people with your issues now? You sound like an entitled, spoiled brat, keep going and going.

@ProHosting24 If the ryzen 9950x servers are in germany, then you might want to give a few more extra packages in lower end.

For example, one might need 9950x but 200 GB in lowest bracket could be way overkill from storage point of view.

Let's say there might be a package with $3 - $3.5 which covers:

    1 core
    2-3 GB RAM
    30 - 50 GB Samsung NVMe

There should be entry level package 1 or 2 which I would have personally loved to have as an option to choose from.

You feel like you’re justified to thrash hosts sales even when there’s no reason for trashing them, just your fictional ideas of how things should be… and you don’t know to quit. Get the fuck out and stop ruining hosts sales threads. It's annoying.

    https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/137719/lowendtalk-community-rules-updated-may-2025/p1

If you see an offer that is not right for you for some reason just move on. Not everything will fit your individual needs and it may be a great offer for someone else. It is not your place to trash hosts' offers.

the future is in fully configurable VPS details, u start with some baseline configuration and then add what u need, somebody needs more disck, somebody else more traffic, add a core, or double the RAM... whatever u fancy. @host_c is already there, i managed to customize small VPS during his recent flash sale, and i'm proud of myself :D because it was quick decision making and clicking, i was lucky, i guess

    @ProHosting24 take note

P.S. oh, here's a small screenshot of configurable details in that VPS, i used 2 of 5 available extras, and VPS now perfectly fits my needs, read: i'll tend to keep it for a longer time

  • thanks for pointing that out. i take note of your comment and will refrain from commenting further. however, for the sake of completeness, i am attaching the entire text on “provider offers.” because by leaving out the rest of the text, your (selective) quote comes across as manipulative.

get the fuck out and stop ruining hosts sales threads. it's annoying.

Provider Offers If you see an offer that is not right for you for some reason just move on. Not everything will fit your individual needs and it may be a great offer for someone else. It is not your place to trash hosts' offers. While a certain amount of community self moderation has always been acceptable and is still acceptable apply common sense and try to be constructive. e.g. "OpenVZ is rubbish" or "I can get this cheaper at xyz host" is of no use to anyone. If you feel that way then just move on. Do not assume your thoughts are welcome and widely accepted by the community.

  • This post makes me extend my idle €5 server immediately. Hahaha

I agree @ProHosting24 server is premium. The €5 offer is just too good with all ceph-based benefit. Even with 6.5 and 7.95, it still pretty good deals with those specs

    Thanked by 2ProHosting24 TODO
  • @ProHosting24 offers premium servers — I previously had one for €4.95 very good ..

Now, I see a plan for €7.95 with 4 shared vCPUs, which is close to Netcup’s pricing, but Netcup provides dedicated CPU instead.

From my personal opinion, if I decide to add another server, I would probably choose Netcup, even though ProHosting24 is very good and has a very smooth and convenient system for server extensions and billing management.

Hopefully, we’ll all see discounts or lower prices soon — maybe by Black Friday at the latest.
