Do you think they have $7 deals? Exactly
lol thanks for the link! Yeah @LymbicSistem I and some other people here made this site to document CharityHost/Andre’s unethical actions.
love it
How does $7 per year and a $99 "Admin Processing fee/Invoice fee" sound?
$7/year for 500GB to store Linux ISOs (or even better; pron) with added extra monitoring by the provider? Count me in (not).
So from now we are allowed to host gay porn right?
you can test exactVM / ExactCompute new policies , upload some honeypot and see if they still snoop on your data
SOMEONE BUY EXACTVM.HOST AND GET IT ABOVE EXACTVM IN GOOGLE SEO
The SEO is working!
Just head over to ExactVM.com or ExactCompute.com! SEO purposes
What a nice charity
Now that they’re off charity business and no more churches or NGOs to please, will they allow porn?
They not only allow, they will advertise exactly this - a pr0n hoster. And as a side job, will produce some content in-house.
First SnoopHost, now we're getting OnlyHost? Let's go!
do it. its epyc!
sure! and teh pron is accessable in public_html by default.
plot twist, only on the ftp storage products.
Btw Google changes SERPs based on your browsing history. You should use an Incognito window or Ahrefs/Semrush if you want to see real search results (this thread isn’t actually ranking at that position for “ExactVM”).
Also, recency is a huge ranking factor, so when a thread is posted and it goes straight to the top, within a couple of days it’s likely to fall back off the first page.
Not everyone pulls a Clouvider.
read all things and you will realize the user isn't immature but the provider is
Exactly
what did clouvider do?
I thought pretending to be a charity is what brought in the big bucks, along with the invoice fee, convenience fee, processing fee, setup fee, etc.
This company sounds more like a Ponzi scheme than a competent hosting provider. Buyers beware, notwithstanding the whole snooping scandal.
It's just "he-said-she-said," but the guy who sent me the email had some choice words about CharityHost, and while I didn't think it important enough to put on host.charity, apparently Andre "makes business deals and backs out, is the most indecisive person ever, [and] should not be running any form of business."
His actions do seem to support those claims.
This is the email, for anyone curious (I redacted Andre's phone number)

Rumors going around, that he was suying his own costumers.
for 5,14 EUR?
that's pleasant
interesting!
Old though, he was denying it, but quite some drama.
