    I submitted a ticket #497846 on 21/02/2023 (16:23) requesting an affiliate withdrawal,
and it's still 'in progress' after two years and three months.
I honestly don't know what else to say.
    Good luck to all.

I've had a Virtono vps in Hong Kong since December 2024, so about 5 months. To be honest, the network hasn't been great.

For the past month, since their outage in April, I switched my main server to Racknerd in Los Angeles, and despite the higher latency, the network is more stable.

Here's smokeping graphs from Virtono Hong Kong to my home fiber.

I have a ticket in for that, but no resolution, yet. Part of that could be ISP congestion, but regardless, it's hard to use in it's current state with that kind of packet loss and poor speeds at times.

Compare that to my RackNerd vps in Los Angeles (Multacom), also to my home fiber.

Perhaps at some of their other locations, Virtono is great (I don't know), but I wouldn't recommend their Hong Kong location. Despite the fact that I paid for a year, I'm considering just terminating the service, as I'm not sure it's worth the aggravation.

I've been using it for over a year now. The network in the Hong Kong region is indeed a bit unstable at times — sometimes it's good, sometimes not. I went with the lowest 512MB plan, but overall it's been fairly stable.

I'm on the 8GB plan that I got for €49.95/year (the one that they're selling here for €39.95/year).

Even if it's OK at times, I need a full-time server, not a part-time one.

    Something went wrong somewhere.
Which one is the Warsaw PL? 81.181.104.2 or 80.96.44.2?

EDIT: Random guess would be both are the same, last hop is ~waw1.pl.m247.ro.
However now I remember why I never bought anything, fucking Orange PL routing thru Frankfurt from Warsaw to Warsaw :(
EDIT2: or not, I don't know, I never understood Orange PL routing (I mean I understand, cheapest is the keyword :D)

Here's a yabs for Virtono Hong Kong that I just ran (8GB plan). CPU performance is decent. But check the send speeds.

    @virtono said: Hostname: war-pl-ping.virtono.com

    $ dig war-pl-ping.virtono.com @1.1.1.1 +short
    80.96.44.2

    Something went wrong somewhere.
Which one is the Warsaw PL? 81.181.104.2 or 80.96.44.2?

EDIT: Random guess would be both are the same, last hop is ~waw1.pl.m247.ro.
However now I remember why I never bought anything, fucking Orange PL routing thru Frankfurt from Warsaw to Warsaw :(
EDIT2: or not, I don't know, I never understood Orange PL routing (I mean I understand, cheapest is the keyword :D)

Indeed Orange PL seems quite weird routing-wise
    https://check-host.net/check-report/25dc3639k8eb

Both IPs are in Poland, just different subnets. But their routing chart is exactly the same, so the only thing I can assume is that your ISP is doing weird stuff.

First MTR goes through Arelion, second one through Opentransit (Orange's T1 net).

Orange ES isn't the best either, but vs the competition it's literally the best :joy:
You never know. I sometimes get 24ms to Frankfurt, sometimes 50ms, ...

PS: The IPv6 address didn't work, so I reinstalled the system.

Have you opened a support ticket? My colleagues will be glad to help you out.

Yes, I opened a ticket on May 5. I did receive a reply, but nothing that's improved the issue so far.

Can you recheck now the HK? I've contacted the NOC yesterday, it should've been improved.

Yes, I was able to order one not long ago. I can also still add them to cart and successfully apply the promo-code. Make sure that you're selecting the yearly billing cycle.
