Yes, but only for internal off site backups. Texas would compete with our KC POP.
I do want Miami or LA by end of year, though. Maybe
@DataIdeas-Josh but why did you not tried to find partners before you wrote the notice? I am sure there are some hosts/companies who could be interested! Or is the excuse "partner" to shut it down!
Miami would be good. I think LA is way too populated.
@DataIdeas-Josh , best of luck man.
Don't want to be a scavenger much but will you be selling any hardware or network gear? Can PM.
dang this is the most unexpected news
All of the equipment will be sold. Send me a PM and we can discuss farther.
Dang! Sorry to see it happen! Good luck in future endeavors! I'll reach out and maybe take your pi's off you, still haven't launched our Pi rental line up yet, so maybe this will force me to do it.
I agree!
Always open to chatting.
Someone from our team reached out on Discord.
We'll see how we can help out.
Sad. A good provider like you is closing business. feeling sad for your situation
Too rich for my blood. I’m hoarding resources right now to fly MXroute to space. Metaphorically, of course. Although…
Very unfortunate. I hope this is not the end of your hosting career, and you resurface with a new company and real investors.
Best of luck.

Wasn't a customer but you always seemed sensible, sorry for your troubles man.
@DataIdeas-Josh - I am guessing the hosting of Raspberry Pi is terminating too?
EDIT: You're selling these too?
Same sentiment, always thought you were a nice dude but wasn't a customer yet.
You letting customers know and making accommodations is also very respectable.
Thank you, I know this must hurt, take care of yourself Josh.
I feel your pain
On a more direct note:
When I saw “Josh” from that area starting up and offering colocation, that seemed to match another “Josh” from the same area who not only was so stupid he might use his real name again, but always found victims no matter how loud we shouted as we identified his next ventures. So I cyber stalked this guy hard. I mean I engaged every avenue and purchased access to records, all kinds of things. I was ready to fire my metaphorical missiles in his direction.
What did I find? Super fucking cool guy, even the things he didn’t share openly with people just made him look better. Spotless reputation in my eyes. Someone we were all lucky to have entering our little low end marketplace.
This pains me, especially knowing that with his bills I couldn’t likely help out enough without overly stressing my ability to meet my customer’s needs. But should he try to rebuild from scratch, knowing what went wrong here, count me in as customer #1.
I see you happened to skip over the rideshare idea, maybe we send a Pi to space which beams down MXRoute and DataIdeas logo over RF?
Sad, i wasn't a client for long.
Was a colocation client for a while, no problems. Sad to see this
@DataIdeas-Josh
I hope you recover from this setback. Your're well respected here, that should count for something.
Best of luck in your endeavours
Thank you everyone for the kind words. It really does mean a lot to me as I really hate knowing I'm having to go down this road.
Please feel to reach out to me personally via [email protected], or out number at +1(936)445-6423. We also have Signal at that number if feel like messaging. If have any questions.
Never got a chance to host with them but I hope things work out better next time.
Sorry to hear that, and best of luck to you!
best of luck
I'm sorry to hear that, and I wish you the best of luck!
