Should these types of hosts be banned from LET?
Just wondering how many of yall think that hosts who violate user privacy like (insert host that rhymes with "rarity" here) should be banned off LET? (not that it will be actually enforced, but just a question )

Oh boy here we go again.
At least I’ll take the front seat of the popcorn.
Brudda start a unique drama thread instead
We just had this exact drama
Banning providers not offering services at $7 per year? Might be a bit extreme
No. That's when you keep your spine straight. But of course everything can be bent for 200 bilou bucks.
um, i have a $6/year vps at greencloud and they havent snooped on my files yet.
lmao
What about banning unresponsive hosts who offer unrealistic deals, like those rhyming with grid?
You mean summer exit exams?
This will affect the economy LET drama count
How would you know? Maybe they like your taste. Unless you're saying you're hosting CP and expect to immediately be caught?
Poll is broken.
That is a pretty good deal.
of course not.
let him be shamed into oblivion while LET gets paid $200 and many more views
hedge fund
Cough cough @CharityHost_org
This is all you bro
@bdspice we finally got our poll. Results = the obvious
Regards
The poll result is the sound of LET bloodline. owner's should care about it
@CharityHost_org should create a bootcamp "How to destroy your reputation with just one action". I will pay $7 for it.
I’m surprised they’re still here given the entire community seems to hate them…
Ultimately I think the way to go about this issue for them is to make it clear, front and center, what the expectation of privacy is. Put it in every post and on the order page explicitly if the expectation is that the host can and will simply login to your VPS and read your files without prior consent if violations of AUP are suspected.
I think the case where they logged into someone’s VPS and snooped on what was using traffic to be significantly more troubling then the porn one (since the porn files were in public_html and they were scanning files by name for automatic alerts, which at least suggests some reasonable expectation of privacy).
I'll chip in $7 myself to offset the $200 fee to LET.
@CharityHost_org what do you think?
Another one falls victim to the vanilla polls @emgh
$7 is a good deal 🤑
I'm really not sure what is funnier, scanning your idiot web hosting client's unencrypted files for porn, or being an idiot web hosting client who has a cry on a forum about your web host finding your unencrypted porn.
sorry, yes I am, the second is much much funnier.
No privacy! Charity host should find more porn on clients VMs
You really wanted to call OP an idiot, you did so in both cases.
