Update:
Hello everyone on LET, we've read through all of your replies and realized that our bandwidth is way below the standard. As someone pointed out in this thread, this is not a good start for us, and we'd like to sincerely apologize for providing such inadequate bandwidth.
We truly value your feedback and to make things right, we are upgrading the bandwidth to:
Lin 1024 - 20Mbps
Lin 2048 - 30Mbps
Win/Lin 4096 - 40Mbps
Win/Lin 8192 - 50Mbps
The Internet has also been switched to Global BGP for better performance.
*The price for all VPS will remain the same.
We know this still might not be enough and our developing team is working towards providing at least 100Mbps for our VPS products.
Again, we apologize and we hope some of you can benefit from this small update.
Let us know what you think and we welcome and value all feedback or roasts if it makes our product better
Martin
I'm RAKing my brains wondering about RAKnotquitesosmart.
hey, sorry this update isn't as big as we'd hoped. As mentioned, we are working to get 100M up asap. Please stay tuned and we'll get "smarter"
I've figured it out! You've intentionally omitted the hyphen because these are not in fact Limited-Time VPS Offers but actually "Limited Time VPS Offers" since our time will be forever limited caused by waiting on these obsolete download speeds to complete downloading?
Happy new year 2005 🎉🎉🎉
Imo 2G2C in LA, 30Mbps unmetered, $1.90/m is not bad. Even better if its 100Mbps.
A recommendation @martin_raksmart, put a bandwidth quota in place and make the network at least 500 Mbps. Maybe more people will be interested.
I'm interested in south korean vps
In case it’s not a troll post, you’re still decades behind in terms of industry standards. Do proper research before getting into such business.
They've been running this business for over a decade so they must be doing something right.
@martin_raksmart
5Mbps??? From the Internet in 1998?
Like having clients that don’t know any better
the best clients to have are those kinds. tbh, 8-vcpu/8gb 160gb disk with a 50mbps network is more useful than a 2-vcpu/4gb 20gb disk with 10gbps network at gigahost. the former is good for mysql while the latter is good for idling and yabs.

Oops
And to answer the location demand question - without much surprise any asia location with CN access would be welcome
hi there, good jokes aside, sorry for omitting the hyphen (English as a 2nd language). We will work towards improving the speed in the following days and please stay tuned.
Working fine from my end, but I'm receiving 246ms.
Ok no jokes. You advertise with various top tier partners but im not seeing half of it on the ASN
Edit: Derp my bad. holy macaroni thats premium.
Hi! At the moment we are testing International BCP at we promise we'll bring in more later.
Thanks. You make good jokes also.
Thank you for your advice and feedback. We will make these bandwidth updates asap
May I ask where you are located roughly? We can look into it.
Here is my test on this type of RAKsmart in Jan : ( result are in Chinese).
It's optimized routing to China.

yes we realized:/ Now everything's 100 M! We were previously working with clients that needed CN2 connection, where bandwidth is a lot more expensive than BGP...
We apologize and have updated all VPS plans to 100M unmetered
we just put the pigeons on steroids and now they go 100M!
Hi all,
As promised, all VPS have now been updated to 100M unmetered.
To clarify why we started with such out-of-date (now that we know
) port speed, we used to work with small-budget customers using mostly CN2. Realizing the lack of port speed, we've switched to BGP and can provide 100M.
Please let us know if there's anything else you feel that isn't quite meeting your standards and we'll try our best to improve!
Best,
Martin
Well handled!
Sure. The best machines are those with a 64Kbps network. Type apt update, and it will give you enough time to reflect on your life choices.
apt update runs just fine.
