Terrible Experience with Nuxoa.de — Need Assistance
I’m having a really bad experience with @NUXOA, one of the providers here on LET. I am just curious if anyone else had encountered similar issues or incident recently or in the past.
I placed an order on February 5 for a server that was promised to have a full 10Gbps port speed with 100TB outbound traffic. Their representatives Maximilian Dallmair, even confirmed via email, and said:
“Yes, it is a full 10G port with a traffic limit of 100TB each month.”
However, the server I received is not what I ordered.
After making the payment, I received my server almost immediately, but when I tried to boot it up, nothing worked properly. I attempted to reinstall the OS, which went through without any problems, but the server continued to fail when trying to boot from the drive.
So, I reported this issue to Nuxoa.de support and provided VNC screenshots showing the problem. They ignored the evidence and kept insisting the server was fine. After a week of back-and-forth and waiting for days to get a reply, one of their representatives finally acknowledged that there is indeed a problem and arranged for a replacement server. However, he/she immediately mentioned that the replacement server has the same issue and “our main admins will check it this afternoon remotely and tomorrow in the datacenter.”
Curious to see what the replacement they added into my account, I powered it on, installed a new OS and it just worked. I don’t know why they said the server same issue. Anyway, I ran several network tests using iperf3 and nws.sh. The results were consistent: the port speed is capped at around 1.09 to 1.10Gbps, which is far below the 10Gbps that I was promised. I then informed them that this replacement server is unacceptable because it does not meet my original order specifications. I requested either an upgrade to full 10Gbps port speed or that they replace it with the original order.
A few days later, I discovered that my original order had been canceled, leaving me with only the replacement server that still doesn’t meet the required specs. It has now been four days since that last response, and I still haven’t received any further updates or a resolution from their support or the “admin” whoever that guy is!
Has anyone else had such a disappointing experience with Nuxoa.de? I’m trying to figure out what my best course of action might be! Whether I should wait for a week more or push for a refund?
I have a feeling they’ll just ignore a refund request too.
How would you handle this situation? I’d really appreciate any advice!
Thanks in advance for your insights.

have you tried chargeback yet?
You don't go into much details on the "nothing worked properly" and then again on the bandwidth test results. The fact you got results ABOVE 1 Gbps already implies you have a 10Gbps port and they're not capping you. And you don't list your server specs or offer. That would be helpful since their website says:
What are your test results between your server and your 10Gbps end point? That's all that really matters. Testing against random speedtest servers is unreliable.
I'm getting the impression you don't have the technical skills to even be complaining.
What is your use case?
What are your expectations?
lol.
Does this really look like a full 10G port to you based on the description?
Unless he explicitly probed only a server from, let's say, the distant Middle East or something, that's a big stretch.
And how is his use case relevant to the agreement he had with the host? He doesn’t even need to have a use case for that matter.
Sometimes people try just too hard in those LET responses...
Run a regional speedtest: https://nws.sh/
Just because you have a 10G port doesn't mean you'll get 10Gbps speeds unless you're testing from a very near speedtest server in most cases.

Hello, short answer from our side. Normally all our servers are working instant after you orders them if it is an instant server on our website. It looks like this one xeon had some issues with booting in the nvme after running the installer.
You only wrote with our support in not main business hours. That’s why it needs sometimes many hours until we reply to you. We already looking for new employees who can also support outside the main hours, sorry.
The new server you got is working fine. We set also the payment date to the new time as every provider should do it if there was an issue on his side.
The only problem right now is that you are using the 1G port instead the 10G port of your server. That’s why it is limited to around 1G.
Also our support can change this for you if you are not able. Just reply in the ticket please.
If there is anything else let us know!
Regards
all xeons are only here only offered in €€ firstcolo FRA4 location and all have 10G:
