Actually it ruins a lot of fun lol. I would say that's the essence of this game, to try to assume where's the place. I really laughed when there was that mosque when most of players were so close (I guess it was Pakistan if not wrong), yet mine was magnitude further like in Lebanon.

there is also a few options to shake it up a bit, can always try something else like 'no moving' to try prevent people just googling signs

Yeah, that's nice or when its all greenery, so you have to assume where it is and end up missing for like a half of a globe.

I definitely agree but in the era of tools people have been optimising all sort of tools it is all about making use of available resources. I am still the boomer in my company as I use GPT (or any alternatives) less than once a month because I prefer relying on my own skills, but either way I think if someone can get their things done faster with tools why not.

Heck, my browser screwed up and i saw a white area. I guessed it as Antarctica.
Turns out a simple refresh would fix it

Another time, I actually visited and knew the place but the phone crapped on me. So ended up putting the middle of Atlantic instead of the actual place.
