I like this thread
Can you please enlighten me on how I do a push/epp transfer? I have both namesilo and cf accounts
Okay, when you wake up?
We love FAT32!
You just start a normal transfer and enter that EPP code.
https://www.namesilo.com/domain/transfer-domains
With CF it's a bit troublesome because I would need to update the nameservers to yours prior to you initiating a transfer request.
W-W-Wait you're d-d-d-doing it???
I tried that in namesilo, it's asking me to pay 10 bucks after i entered the auth code
Yup, with .com you'll have to pay for 1 year of renewal when transfering.
Nothing yet 👀
Skål!
Didn't have a need for either of those domains so didn't try to claim either (never actually did a transfer before), but it might be best to declare what registrar they're under so recipients can avoid transfer fees (if they're too lazy to do a whois lol).
Edit:
Wasn't aware of the mandated .com tld transfer fees, disregard my message.
Oh gotcha. Thanks for the enlightenment @DP @emgh
They'll likely still be subject to a renewal unless the buyer does a push which DP doesn't want.
Oh, good suggestion!
