How long to get an IP from Colocrossing?

Having signed-up(black Friday deal), with a dedicated service with Colocrossing, and that everything appeared to go as planned, I then inquired about an IP to segregate my services from server, and was told that I had to wait for regular week day staff to get process my request.

That said, and as today constitutes a work day, I was really hoping for a response on that ticket, but have yet to hear anything on this, including, a request for an update.

And so I wanted to ask if this is typical for dedicated services, in-that requests can take several days to process, and /or whether this is an indication of poor turnaround times?

Not trying to be difficult, though I am bit concerned when response times are this slow, in-that this could easily impact business insofar as customer requests such as hardware changes are concerned.

  • If your business is so important to you, stop trying to save $3 and pay a premium.
You pay LowEndTalk, You get LowEndSupport

  • In my experience, it's typical. Wait another 12 hours and you'll probably get deployed.

    Massively unhelpful comment.

Thanks for the advice, will do - patience can sometimes be a virtue :)

Any delay from support over 60 minutes requires a charge back. No questions.

You have been very patient. You should get a medal.

  • Just wanted to update to say that I have since been contacted by sales, and that they are proceeding with the IP delegation :)
