Looking For Low Cost KVM/VirtuozzoKVM VPS in ASIAN COUNTRY

Hi Community+Providers.
Me & business partners looking for low cost VPS with Host server physically located inside a country in ASIA, such as : (Batam/Medan, Indonesia) , (Penang, Malaysia) , (Changi/Tuas, Singapore) , (Karachi, Pakistan), (CoxsBazar/Kaukata, Bangladesh) , (Marmaris, Turkey) , (Busan, South-Korea) , etc or very nearby connected cities,
and in below we shown what else are needed/required.

Website in ENGLISH.

KVM / Virtuozzo-KVM type VPS ( KVM allows direct access to CPU/Processor's encryption core & thats needed ) :
vCPU : 2 to 8 cores. Host processor EPYC preferred or Xeon or Ryzen.
• Physical/Hardware RAM : 4GB to 16GB
• Primary/Boot Storage : NVMe Drives 40GB to 1TB
• Network Port Speed : 1Gbits/s to 10 Gbits/s
• Bandwidth (BW) : 2TB to 20TB/month
SMTP/Email : Open Port-25 for Unlimited+Unmetered email SMTP send+receive (via my/our/VPS-owner's own email-server in VPS), as long as usage is under+within the maximum BANDWIDTH (BW) allotted per month for the KVM VPS plan.
• Allots 1 to 8 IPv4-address(es)
• Allots atleast 1 NATIVE IPv6 /64 SubNet
• Supports setup of BGP Session Announcement aka BYOI (Bring Your Own IP) & Allow to Add our (VPS-owner's) own IPv6 /48 subnet into the VPS ID of KVM VPS , (as 2nd Subnet, other than the 1st/NATIVE IPv6 /64 subnet from VPS-Provider) . Usually VPS-Provider's ISP or UPSTREAM-Provider, and VPS-Owner's LIR/Subnet-Provider, and VPS-Provider, these 3 parties need to collaborate to setup BGP Session Announcement for a subnet traffic come/go from/into a spacific KVM VPS / server, based on unique VPS ID of KVM VPS.
• And VPS-provider/operator (or VPS-operator's ISP or UPSTREAM-Provider) will also configure their DNS settings & allow to DELEGATE NS (of my/our/VPS-Owner's own IPv6 /48 SubNet) toward our/VPS-owner's own domain NAMESERVER running inside KVM VPS provided by VPS-Provider . This will allow us (VPS-owner) to set/change RDNS (PTR DNS record) of any IPv6-address under our own IPv6 /48 subnet, & will allow us to assign different IPv6 /64 subnet (from our own IPv6 /48 subnet) to our different customers and to our different server-software, etc.
• VPS-Provider's KVM VPS Control Panel (CP) has RDNS (PTR DNS record) set/change option for each IPv6-address in the allotted/assigned NATIVE IPv6 /64 Subnet, & CP has same option to set/change RDNS for allotted/assigned IPv4-address(es) , Or has API to set/change RDNS of IP-Address (when used from KVM VPS & when have a right token/security-key) , Or, VPS provider has ticket system that will set/change RDNS with higher priority without any questions asked.

Billing Cycle : Monthly / Annual.

Price : USD $2 to $7/monthly , Or, USD $20 to $70/annually.

Quantity : 1 unit , (few months later another unit)

ADDITIONAL / EXTRA INFO :

We have already obtained 2 KVM VPS (within the price mentioned in above) : 1 from USA & 1 from EU ( has 1 IPv4-adrs, IPv6 /64 subnet, 3+ vCPU cores, 8GB+ RAM, 60 GB+ NVMe, Network port 1Gbps & 10Gbps, Open Port-25, BW: 8TB+, Ticket based RDNS setup/change, etc),
and now we need 1 from a country in ASIA.
After RDNS (PTR DNS record) setup of IPv4-address is done,
then we can begin software+service setup+test & dev-works & (freemium+premium) service sale, etc, and 1st thing we have to setup is our NAMESERVER (by using 3 IPv4-address from 3 VPS).
After setup NameServer, then our VPS-Provider can begin to setup BGP Session Announcement of our own IPv6 /48 subnet (which we obtained from LIR/Subnet-provider) toward our KVM VPS ID in VPS-Provider's ASN settings (or in VPS-Provider's ISP's ASN settings or in VPS-Provider's UPSTREAM-Provider's ASN settings).
Then our VPS-Provider (or VPS-Provider ISP or UPSTREAM-Provider) can begin to configure their DNS settings to DELEGATE NS (for our IPv6 /48 subnet) toward our domain NAMESERVER running inside our KVM VPS which is hosted by VPS-Provider's host server.
In each KVM VPS we will be using DEBIAN or Proxmox , CP : HestiaCP / Virtualmin / ISPConfig , nginx web/webmail/...server , email-server (& anti spam/virus checkers) , DNS+DNSSEC server/Nameserver , Database server , SSH server , Instant-messaging (IM) server , etc.
Almost all, except maybe NAMESERVER ~= DNS server, of the above mentioned server-software(s), will run under HA-Cluster (Gluster) manager+server : HA=High-Availability . Cluster = group/set of related separate nodes/computers/servers working as one computer : To make sure, our (email, web, database, ssh, IM, etc) server-software are working+available for our customers+users+visitors, even when 1 or 2 VPS(es)/nodes have gone down, out of 3 VPS/nodes,
and Cluster manager+server will also allow our (email, web, database, ssh, IM, etc) server-software to distribute workload to our other less-busy VPS/node ) , if the server-software also supports cluster mode functionalities.

We do not send any SPAM email. We send emails only to our existing customers/users, or who are querying for info from us , or we send queries to our vendors, various service-providers, etc.
Our customers will be forced to limit their email usage (send+receive) thru assigned IPv6 /64 subnet (from our own IPv6 /48 subnet) based email-server, configured to use customer's own domain that is SPF+DKIM+DMARC signed+verified. So they(our-customers) will have to send non-spam email, or-else their own domain & our IPv6 subnet (from IPv6 /48 subnet) will be marked as Spammer by Email-service-providers (and/or RBLs), which will result as loss of security-deposit of subnet, to restore back it as CLEAN subnet (which can/may require 2 months).
Our customers will-not & cannot use any of our IPv4-addresses (assigned to us by our VPS-Provider), and our customers will-not & cannot use any of our domains based email-server. Our customers also cannot use the NATIVE IPv6 /64 subnet assigned by VPS-Provider, that Native IPv6 /64 subnet will only be used by our own domain's official use+communication purpose with customers & our service-providers.
We will not allow your or our IP-addresses or domains get marked as "Spammer" etc by RBLs or email-service-providers such as GMail, Yahoo, Microsoft Outlook/Hotmail, etc.

Thank you in advance.

I MADE A MISTAKE IN MY TOP REQUEST/POST.

    I USED : ... VPS-PROVIDER ALLOWS TO ... "DELEGATE NS" OF OUR-OWN IPv6 /48 SUBNET ... < -- ITS WRONG ( As that indicates to Delegate Forward lookup Zone ).

    CORRECTION : ... VPS-PROVIDER ALLOWS TO ... DELEGATE REVERSE-ZONE OF OUR-OWN IPv6 /48 SUBNET ...

    AKA ... DELEGATE REVERSE-DNS ... SUB-DELEGATE REVERSE-ZONE ... DELEGATE RZ W/ NS ... REVERSE DNS DELEGATION ... etc

    MORE CORRECT : ... VPS-PROVIDER NEED TO DELEGATE REVERSE-ZONE OF OUR(VPS-OWNER's) OWN IPv6 /48 SUBNET , BY PUTTING/ADDING OUR NAMESERVER'S NS RECORDS / HOSTNAMES IN THE REVERSE-ZONE FILE/SETTINGS IN THEIR (VPS-PROVIDER's) DNS SERVER ...

VPS-PROVIDER RZ-DNS : it is similar to setup RDNS (PTR DNS record) in VPS-Provider's DNS-server's reverse-zone file for the allotted IPv4-address ...
but instead of adding PTR DNS record in reverse-zone file for IPv4-Address,
    For REVERSE-ZONE DELEGATION , VPS-Provider will need to goto their DNS-Server's reverse-zone file for (VPS-owner's) IPv6 /48 subnet , & then put VPS-Owner's domain's Nameserver's NS DNS records )
    More info/example : https://serverfault.com/questions/433400/ipv6-reverse-dns-delegation

RIR VPS ISP : And During "BGP ANNOUNCEMENT" SETUP ... one of the step is , VPS-Provider's ISP or IP-Address Subnet Provider is setting up data records in their AS / ASN records in their local-area's/zone's RIR registry (RIPE, ARIN, APNIC, ...) authority.
In that step, VPS-Provider's ISP or IP-Address Subnet Provider will goto their AS / ASN's manage "Reverse DNS Delegation" tab/section (for the VPS-Owner's IPv6 /48 subnet),
& there they will setup/select/specify Nameserver that will be handling reverse-zone of (VPS-Owner's) IPv6 /48 subnet ... by putting/adding NS DNS records of their(VPS-Provider's ISP or IP-Address Subnet Provider) own Nameserver(s), (not VPS-Owner's Nameservers) . By the way, VPS-Provider's ISP is aka UPSTREAM-Provider.
    Then VPS-Provider will setup VPS-Provider's DNS-Server's reverse-zone file , & specify VPS-Owner's Nameserver(s) NS DNS records, as mentioned in above "VPS-PROVIDER RZ-DNS" paragraph.
    https://www.apnic.net/manage-ip/manage-resources/reverse-dns/
    https://apps.db.ripe.net/docs/Database-Support/Configuring-Reverse-DNS/#automated-update-of-dnssec-delegations
    https://www.arin.net/resources/manage/reverse/

RIR VPS OWNER : During "BGP ANNOUNCEMENT" SETUP ... in one of the step , IPv6 /48 Subnet-provider (aka LIR aka LIR/Subnet-Provider) will goto their AS / ASN settings in their local-zone's RIR registry authority (ARIN, RIPE, APNIC, ...).
In that/those settings LIR/Subnet-Provider will create a data object/... for Subnet-user (that is me/us), and under that data object/... LIR/Subnet-Provider will add our (Subnet user's) domain's Nameserver NS DNS records , and LIR will also add data to indicate which exact IPv6 /48 subnet is allotted to the Subnet-User.

SUBNET (IPv6 / IPv4) can also be tunneled into a VPS , when VPS-Provider do not want to setup BGP-Announcement or Cannot setup BGP-Announcement (for various reasons/factors).
Subnet that is setup thru BGP-Announcement works much faster than tunneled subnet.
VPS-Provider/... provided native subnet is slightly faster than BGP-Announced subnet.

To use additional subnet in your VPS/server , registering+paying for AS / ASN is not always necessary.
If you need to obtain large subnet from RIR , then creating AS / ASN in your local zone's RIR registry/authority is needed , and for other larger scaled routing needs , and if you are VPS-Provider then , etc.
But if you are leasing / using smaller subnet from LIR , then creating+registering+paid AS in RIR registry/authority is not must/necessary.
LIR can help to create necessary minimal data in RIR registry/authority for free or for very small amount of one time fee , for the subnet user.

Note : I have purposefully changed few standardized-words or word-combinations into more common words.

    Hope these help both VPS-Provider & VPS-Owner

You should add this TLDR section at the beginning of your post.

    TL;DR:

We're looking for a low-cost VPS with the following specifications:

    Location:

    • Asia: Preferably in Batam/Medan (Indonesia), Penang (Malaysia), Changi/Tuas (Singapore), Karachi (Pakistan), Cox's Bazar/Kukata (Bangladesh), Marmaris (Turkey), Busan (South Korea), or nearby cities.

    Technical Requirements:

    • Virtualization: KVM / Virtuozzo-KVM
    • vCPU: 2 to 8 cores (EPYC, Xeon, or Ryzen preferred)
    • RAM: 4GB to 16GB
    • Storage: NVMe, 40GB to 1TB
    • Network Speed: 1Gbps to 10Gbps
    • Bandwidth: 2TB to 20TB/month
    • SMTP/Email: Open port 25 for unlimited email (within bandwidth limits)
    • IP Addresses: 1 to 8 IPv4, 1 native IPv6 /64 Subnet
    • BGP Session Support: Allow BYOI (Bring Your Own IP) and add our IPv6 /48 subnet
    • RDNS (PTR DNS): Configurable via control panel, API, or ticket system

    Billing:

    • Cycle: Monthly or Annual
    • Price: USD $2 to $7/month, or USD $20 to $70/year
    • Quantity: 1 unit (potentially another in a few months)

    Additional Info:

    • Already have VPS in the USA and EU, now need one in Asia.
    • Plan to set up high-availability services using Debian/Proxmox, HestiaCP/Virtualmin/ISPConfig, and other server software.
    • Strict anti-spam policies for email usage.

"Layer" 1C2G-SG VPS plan does not meet my requirements, but worth looking : https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/196369/

    • ( For an earlier plan, i/we contacted "Layer" & exchanged info about 1 or 2 weeks earlier , their sales/tech support said they will not open-up port-25 for email send/receive via SMTP !! and said: can only open port 465 or 587 !! and suggested to use other remote email-server from VPS by using port 465 or 587 to send emails !! This type of restriction/solution/answer is not helpful for VPS-Owner . Opening-up only ports such as 993 / 995 / 143 / 110 / 465 / 587 for emails ... does not allow to exchange emails with world's other email-server(s) . Those ports are not used for direct email exchange (send/receive) . These ports 993/465/587 are used by email-client software/programs (Thunderbird, Outlook-Mobile/Desktop, K-9, etc) to connect with email-server's specific folders or specific QUEUE . Ports 993 / 143 are used by email-clients to retrieve/store email-files over IMAP connection from/into multiple folders in email-server . Ports 995 / 110 are used by email-clients to retrieve emails over POP3 connection from Inbox folder of email-server , where email-server stores received emails 1st . And port 465 / 587 are used by email-clients to deposit outgoing email in Outbox QUEUE of email-server . Then email-server sends email by using SMTP port-25 into another email email-server's port-25 . So any exchange of actual emails in between one email-server to another email-server MUST use+need SMTP , which happens ONLY on port-25 (based on STANDARD created by world engineers) . Anything else (other port-25) is exceptional rare port config/case, & will NOT-WORK with any STANDARD email-servers around world . BUT NOW "Layer" allows (Bring Your Own IP) "BYOIP", So VPS-owner should not be restricted any further for SMTP (port-25) , as VPS-Owner owned/leased IP-address are attached into the VPS , So VPS-owner can do whatever they want to/from their IP-address . Any abuse will only show IP-address owner/lessee name , And VPS-Provider/operator's IP-adrs will remain unaffected . By the way, BYOIP only works for minimum IPv4 /24 subnet (that is 255 IPv4-addresses) or minimum IPv6 /48 subnet . Leasing IPv6 /48 subnet is possible for $5/yr . Leasing IPv4 /24 subnet is possible for $75/month . RIR registry membership can also allow a registered person to get IPv4 / IPv6 address for lower cost , but longer waiting required . IPv4-adress mail-server can send email only to another IPv4-address based mail-server , not to a IPv6-adrs based mail-server )

I'm talking with Sales+Tech support of 2 other VPS providers from 2 countries in ASIA ... if matches or comes close to my mentioned requirement , i will mention their names.

We can BGP Sessions (BYOIP/Transit). Location Jakarta, Indonesia. But looking at the budget you have, we can say to save your money to achieve the desired expectations.

  • atErikatErik Member

The "HostHatch" VPS-Provider's atleast 1 KVM VPS plan has come very close to my requirements:

The "NVMe 4 GB" plan : KVM VPS , Location choice : Singapore or Hong Kong or Sydney,Australia , 2 AMD EPYC Milan core (fair share) , 4 GB DDR4 RAM , 20 GB NVMe Storage , 1 TB bandwidth , BGP and IP announcement - BYOIP ( You can announce your own IP space with us, which will then be routed to your server(s). )
Its now priced at $70/year (thats: $5.83/monthly).

Above plan has 20 GB NVMe , my requirement was 40 GB NVMe.
Above plan has 1 TB BW, but my requirement was 2 TB BW.

1 TB BW is around $1 , so take the above 2nd deficient, out, as $6.83/month is still within my requirements.

i could not find option to increase NVMe size.

Hi @Patriarch , my DREAM may become reality soon.

Hi @fluffernutter , finally found a provider that can almost match my requirement , and so I gave myself the $2 for reading the whole thing, & for posting atleast some correction, ...

  • atErikatErik Member

Hi @servzen , thanks but "Virtuary" VPS no plan matched my mentioned requirements, Because, even their $180/m plan has max speed 500 Mbits/s.
I think i read Virtuary's 1 of the earlier post here, where they said they do support BGP sessions for VPS. But i do not know if they restrict Email/SMTP/Port-25 usage or not.

    The "AdvinServers" > Cloud VPS(s) > KVM Premium VPS(s) > "Johor,MY/Malaysia" (Asia) > "KVM Premium XS" VPS : 2 vCPU , 4 GB RAM , 64 GB NVMe SSD , 500 GB/month Bandwidth , Host: AMD EPYC 9004 Genoa Virtual Servers , $6/month.

In above VPS plan, BW is only 500 GB/month, But my requirement is 2 TB/month (2000 GB/month).
Other factors matched or very-very close, (to my/our requirements).

Below Policies/Rules are applied by AdvinServers :

    • They support BGP Sessions if customer purchased atleast $192/yr or atleast $29/month services !! said to open ticket to request for exception.
They support BYOIP if customer purchased atleast $48/yr or atleast $16/month services, said to open ticket to request for exception.
    • They support Delegation of rDNS/reverse-zone to customers nameservers, after 100 days of active service . ( So For 1st 100 days, customer's/VPS-owner's all domain's all rDNS (PTR DNS record) of IPv4/IPv6 addresses, will have to be setup via their ticket & request there to set rDNS (PTR dns records) !! )
    • They will open Email SMTP/Port-25 , only after 100 days of active service !! ( So, for 1st 100 days, all domains owned by VPS-owner, have to avoid using any emails through AdvinServers provided VPS !! So, before getting VPS in AdvinServers, Customers/VPS-owners have to find & rent + configure such an emailhost service-provider that allows+accept customer's/VPS-owner's ALL emails for ALL domains !! )

( Its good that there is no rule that says for 1st 100 days HTTP/HTTPS/Port-80/Port-443 etc etc usage not allowed. )
( Its good that there is no rule that says for 1st 100 days, customers have to wait after pay & cannot use any service in that period, & after 100 days, VPS, a server, will be ready to be used/configured as server. )
( KEEP SLEEPING / HIBERNATE it for 100 DAYS. )

So you may get the VPS, & then you should wait 100 days, & then move into VPS , & then setup rDNS (PTR dns record of IPv4-address) , then Nameserver , then BGP/BYOIP , then Put NS in Subnet's Reverse-Zone , then web + Email/SMTP server + database, etc.

PROBLEMS RELATED TO RESTRICTIONS ON EMAIL/SMTP/PORT-25 USAGE :
    Removing/De-listing an IP-address (IPv4/IPv6) from RBLs/Blacklists may/can require 10 to 60 days for an individual user for 1 IP-address at a time.

So after getting VPS , 1ST request VPS provider to setup the RDNS (PTR dns record) in reverse-zone file of assigned IPv4-Address, by using hostname from your own domain, that you will use as your emailserver hostname , such as "mx.example.com."

And 2NG THING you have to do is, check the assigned IPv4-address in Blacklist/SpamList tester website , to find out which Blacklist site(s) have marked the IPv4-address as Spammer/Banned/Abuser/etc.

To remove/delist/unlist the IPv4-address from RBL/Blacklist site , Blacklist site operator will check+verify the applicant , whether applicant is the actual user or not of that assigned IPv4-address,
so they will need you to send/receive email into your domain emailserver that is using the blacklisted IPv4-address , to remove from blacklist.

So you will have to setup an emailhost (mail-server) in your VPS.
Which needs sending/receiving few emails to remove from blacklists.
BUT IF VPS PROVIDER DO NOT ALLOWS YOU TO SEND/RECEIVE EMAILS THEN YOU HAVE TO WAIT THE PERIOD VPS-PROVIDER PROHIBITED EMAIL USAGE.
AND AFTER THAT PROHIBITED-PERIOD TIME, YOU HAVE TO BEGIN VERIFICATION in RBL SITES, THEN AGAIN WAIT 10 TO 60 DAYS !!
SO VPS-PROVIDER'S THIS TYPE OF RESTRICTION/PROHIBITION CREATES DOUBLE WAIT-PERIOD.

As an example, in AdvinServer case ( who prohibits email usage for 1st 100 days ) , 1st YOU HAVE TO WAIT 3 MONTHS + 10 DAYS , THEN LETS SAY YOU NEED 2 DAYS TO SETUP EMAIL-SERVER , THEN YOU APPLY FOR REMOVAL/DELISTING OF your IPv4-ADDRESS FROM BLACKLISTS IN VARIOUS BLACKLIST OPERATOR SITES , ... THEN WAIT AGAIN FROM 10 TO 60 DAYS ... THAT IS 5 MONTHS OF WAITING FOR USING A VPS AS EMAIL-SERVER !!

To load emailhost In VPS , load any control-panel ( CP ) software : Virtualmin-GPL or Hestia CP etc control-panel are easy to load & free ... this type of CP (control-panel) software will allow you to configure VPS with various essential daemons (servers) . So use the Email-Server option/page in CP , also setup DKIM, DMARC, SPF, etc in emailhost & in domain DNS settings.

The original machine had a base-plate of prefabulated aluminite, surmounted by a malleable logarithmic casing in such a way that the two main spurving bearings were in a direct line with the pentametric fan. The latter consisted simply of six hydrocoptic marzlevanes, so fitted to the ambifacient lunar waneshaft that side fumbling was effectively prevented. The main winding was of the normal lotus-o-delta type placed in panendermic semi-bovoid slots in the stator, every seventh conductor being connected by a non-reversible tremie pipe to the differential girdlespring on the "up" end of the grammeters
