    Is that a "not that bad", like from a stoic opponent in a 1980s movie who's also slow-clapping...? --Katie

    @Hetzner_OL congrats!

    one suggestion for the team, is to provide US$ pricing.

    asian customers are not used to european currencies (euros/pounds/etc..)

    I expected at least 2TB traffic because of Hetzner! Little disappointed.

    Expensive for the spec and bandwidth compared to other providers in SG.

    @Hetzner_OL No discounts for LET?

    Is there any insight to make storagebox coming to SG?

  • Cheap for hourly provider, expensive monthly provider tho for the specs. This reminds me tho and since you guys are active on here I just wanna ask a wild question- @Hetzner_OL how do I get my account unbanned from your services? I forgot to pay a 4-5 cents bill and it got my account blocked :'( . Is there an appeal I can fill out?

    Hey LET-ers - Thanks for the constructive feedback so far. Please let us know other feedback as you test out our cloud servers' performance in Singapore!

    @BruhGamer12 -- Please send me a DM with your customer account number or the email that you used for the account, and I will ask a colleague about it.

    reasonable prices if the intention is to position among well established providers in the business segment.

    however well out of LE range. probably just competing against Vultr and the likes

    As many people here on LET know, we don't publish roadmaps for upcoming features, new locations for products, and so on. What I CAN offer for you today is to add +1s to our customer wishlist. So if you want me to do that, you can simply write something like, "+1 for Storage Boxes in Singapore", and I will make sure that the right teams get that information. (And thank you in advance for letting us know that feedback!) --Katie

    SG.GS bandwidth is pretty premium compared to the blends provided by most APAC providers, would like to see the base instance go down to like $6-7 instead though.

    Also inclusion of China Mobile optimization via Level3 would be a nice touch ;)

    Oh also, if you guys added access to a fibre link for optimization between EU and APAC it would probably draw in a lot more in terms of customer base -- although I do see that your latency between Hetzner FRA and Hetzner SGP is only ~180ms which is pretty good! Would be nicer if more EU => SGP routes were like this tho :)

    Hetzner Falkenstein/Nuremberg to GSL Singapore = 154ms ;)
    I personally prefer GSL, although SG.GS seems quite good

    GSL is good with data transfer between APAC and other regions. Between APAC and more specifically around SEA it's not as good. SG.GS basically peers with everyone everywhere and around SEA that makes all the difference, especially since they seem to have PNI with a number of carriers that are known for shitty public peering links.

    Good move, let's hope this does not affect the price of the German region. It would be bad news if this growth meant an increase in our reference provider.

    DE-CIX ASEAN might be super interesting as an IXP for the whole region instead of just Singapore.
