Sorry, I don't understand this. Coinify says you can't pay with bitcoin because of "Low of amount". Whatever this means.

So, if you can't pay with bitcoin paying by cryptocurrency is somehow totally limited.

Yes, you can setup time for automatic snapshots. And that works fine in my account since more than a year.

Could user buy more disk and snapshot slots?

I have already asked @heartbeat_IT in my support ticket about the question of buying more snapshot slots before one week. I haven't got an answer yet. Earlier, this happened with one ticket. As of today, this pattern repeated. Let us both discover what reasons he has.

    @heartbeat_IT

Can you please tell us why you do not answer tickets of existing clients on presale questions?

The company does not give any answer to a presale question on snapshot.

I also noticed that the performance of the VPS is reduced so drastically in every aspect. Of course it has a shared CPU.

However, it looks like overselling too much, or at least there is too much of load on the server caused by others. If so, they should be affected and not clients, who may simply want to make a small backup once a week.

Today, I tried to check with Yabs but the process could not be loaded, or was getting killed. This was possible before half a year. This shows a dramatic drop down of the perfomance affecting everyone.

I had never seen such a reckless disregard of clients services in the past. Don't know what is happening.

I would not recommend anyone to oder a VPS from this company until they give an explaination to what is going on and when this will change.

Thanks for your questions. Thanks to @MrWonder for providing information.

As written by @MrWonder you can schedule Snapshots via Client Area.

We will increase the Snapshot limit for free in the near future. Yet to be determined to which limit ;)

Disk upgrades are possible at 0,02 € per GiB per month.

At heartbeat IT and at server-factory.com no overselling/overcommitment is happening. We daily answer Tickets regarding custom spec VPS which we decline due to a clear CPU/RAM/DISK Ratio we keep to ensure overall evenly resource usage.

If you have an issue with your service, please open a Ticket. We handle technical support tickets within a few hours.

Recommending others to not order any services without opening a Ticket regarding the issues you are feedbacking in your post seems harsh to me.

It is almost two weeks now that @mxmla has not answered my ticket. Check it out yourself or tell him to check it out.

When I ordered the VPS, everything was fine. But today, why the hell I cannot even execute simple commands for backing up my data?

I cannot even run the normal Yabs. Why?

It is not funny - as a client - to order some VPS and trust a German provider thinking that there will be a sense of minimum standard of services offered.

If there is no ovberselling, then your servers are overused by your clients.

I have never ever overused my VPS. But I am affected by your carelessness. You did not care to make sure that there are sufficient resources made available equally to all clients.

I cannot use my VPS and this is a fact. It is there hanging like a storage box.

Did you even notice how horrible the network connetion is, apart from bad benchmarks? The connection breaks and breaks and breaks.

You should give a thought first, my dear young friend, before saying the following:

"Recommending others to not order any services without opening a Ticket regarding the issues you are feedbacking in your post seems harsh to me."

Why does a client come here to open his mouth and say something negative? Isn't there a logical reason that the client must be pissed of with something? How many weeks should I wait for you guys to answer my tiny request regarding activation and charged of snapshots? Give me the time frame before you declare here that my words are hards.

Learn to think what is a leason you have learnt from my harsh words, my dear young friend, before you make your allegation to my reaction and revise to your unprofessional behaviour first with an appology that this was a mistake not to answer a presale question for so many weeks.

    @heartbeat_IT and @mxmla

I waited for two weeks to get an answer that this is not possible to get a second slot for snapshots.

Now, I have opened one ticket #802645 about the technical issue I face. As my VPS is paid tillMarch 2025, I am trying to use the resources. Otherwise, I would simply search for anathor provider after understanding this kind of bad services offered.

I assume that I will receive an answer from maximilian that this VPS has one core and that is a shared core so he can do nothing. I do not think he will do anything to change or to make it better.

I upgraded it to have something better. But this is not working.

From my 18 VPS, this one is the worst one!

Damn, can you post your server's yab? I want to know how worse it is.

  • mxmlamxmla Member, Host Rep

I offered a partial refund to @MrWonder so our ways can pass.

The VPS in question has 1 EPYC Core which is used 10 - 30 % in average and has daily maximum usages of 80-100%. I offered to backup the VPS, rebuild it to check if there are issues with a fresh OS as well and restore the backup afterwards.

The Node the VPS is running on has 400 GB free RAM and is at 10 % overall CPU usage.

This is ridiculous and is not correct. I have never ever used this VPS as a production server from day one. In fact I had mentioned in tickets that this is for me a backup VPS. But even that is not working.

I will add a screenshot in the ticket.

    The following is a lie:

"has daily maximum usages of 80-100%"

Most likely this shows that my VPS is assigned too little CPU, which was not the case before.

I see in the statistics that the daily average is 10% to 30%.

But how the hell can the monthly average 100%? This means this is wrong somewhere.

Now, if the daily average is 10% to 30%, then I should be able to execute simple commands, correct? Or for example Yabs.

Now, I cannot execute Yabs at all. The same happens in making a backup of my account once a day. The process gets killed. This should not happen.

With no other provider something like this happens. And it is not the first time I am using a VPS (over KVM).

So there is something wrong somewhere, which I do not know, cannot know and is out of my hands.
