I would like to ask. Where can I buy OpenVZ servers

skyandyskyandy Member

I have a virtualized server with a HZ KVM, but I want to try OpenVZ. The price is 10-20 euros per month, and there is no restriction on region

As long as the configuration has a general CPU, 16G memory, and 500G hard disk, it is sufficient

    You want to downgrade?

Maybe try 8GB memory and 250GB disk as well?

If node is half empty or not utilized heavily openvz is actually a decent choice. Virtualization overhead is less and resource constraints are not so tight as per kvm or xenpv.

    Strange request for OpenVZ.
Try reaching out to @Cam / Gullo's Hosting and @EthernetServers

    Edit: Doesn't match budget.

LXC is a bit less isolated and a bit less emulated, but is mature and does pretty much the same thing.
These days overhead is just too low to matter.

Well, lxc is not something offered by reputable providers. More like dungeon ones. Meanwhile openvz is very old and still used by some dinosaurs with good quality.

If you are ok with LXC containerization instead of OVZ, feel free to check our plans from here: https://manager.enginyring.com/cart/-us--virtual-servers/
