Please add 20GB storage, enable cpu passthrough, and nested virtualization
also, I was charged $10 when I created the server. The offer mentioned these servers are hours charged, please explain
I plan to keep server for no more than 48 hours, at least, for the time being
Sadly storage was not on the options. Which option do you want from the listed?
To start deploying VM's you either need 10 EUR in balance or a credit card connected and 0 balance (It's written while trying to deploy).
You can create and delete servers anytime, our billing is per hour, but if the promotion ends, you will not be able to re-claim the upgrade.
That is what I did
I added credit card and it still charged me 10 euros
please refund 10 euros and change me the actual usage to the credit card
That's not a charge, it's just a preauth that will return to you within seconds.
Preauthorization for 10 euros!!! I must say that is pretty unusual
Thanks for the clarification.
Kindly upgrade my server to next higher vps VMA21 with 20gb storage and add 2 gb ram
I could not find option to delete the server and there are limits too
Your Server > Settings > General (at the bottom)
Thanks and appreciated.
Server ID: 1e21d1de
Please add 2 gb memory, enable cpu passthrough, and nested virtualization
All done
(reboot required)
Thanks.
I will be running tests including for Windows Server 2025.
i added 10 EUR to my balance through crypto but still can't deploy servers, it just shows the "add payment method" button, is this intentional?
could you open a ticket or the live chat please? from here we can't really track what's going on.
What’s ETA for Singapore please?
Not sure yet, hopefully within end of the year![ ](https://lowendtalk.com/resources/emoji/blush.png)
@cloudblast
Customized YABS
@cloudblast
Next installing windows server 2025
Can you please run the following?
opened a ticket (#3), thanks
also, is a debian 12 image possible? i currently only see debian 11 being offered
Running Windows Server 2022 OS
@cloudblast
After reinstalling the Debian 11 OS again, the cpu passthrough as well as nested virtualization flags both are disabled again.
Please fix it. Server ID - 1e21d1de
Thanks!
Noted, we are working on that.
Done
As frequently asked, now it's active by default on all VM's:
Hourly & postpaid is perfect for large compute workloads.
What's the policy on high CPU usage?
Suppose I provision a €0.027/hour instance, is it OK to fully use the 8 cores continuously?
Are these actually 8 hardware cores, or are they 8 threads aka 4 hardware cores?
In "bandwidth 10Gbps @ 10TB", the monthly bandwidth limit is 10TB.
If I create an instance to do a data movement task, consume 5TB in 48 hours, and delete the instance, how would I be charged?
Do I pay for 48 hours, or pay for 15 days as I've consumed the network transfer quota equivalent to 15 days?
For Windows 2022, is the license fee included?
Can I use the backup service to store the boot volume of a compute instance?
In other words, when I delete the instance, its boot volume is automatically transferred to the backup, and then I can re-create an instance booting from the volume.
Is this possible?
Yes they are actually 8 cores, we have a fair use policy, you can use them as long as you don't harm other customers performance.
You pay 48 hours
Nope, it's the Trial Evaluation.
Is this possible?
Right now the backups are deleted together if the VM is deleted, but what you just said it's a planned feature, you can find it here: https://cloudblast.canny.io/feature-board/p/global-backups-snapshots
Can you offer an instance type with dedicated cores?
Or, can I use, say, 600% continuously on a 8-core machine?
(in this case, I'll just set two cores as offline)
False, you're using a custom fork of Convoy, an open source Proxmox-based panel![ ](https://lowendtalk.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
I hope you're paying your licenses.
We are Convoy partners, we don't hide that we used Convoy as base (it's written in our About Us page as well). But we implemented and keep implementing plenty of features that basically our panel is something that covers a different target than convoy itself.
We have a roadmap if you want to suggest a new feature: https://cloudblast.canny.io/
