Looking for a VPS box in Cambodia or Thailand
Hi all,
How's it going.
I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I am working on a client's project in Cambodia, and the existing residential network connections are a little too slow and unreliable to manage her nightly backups to our aws store.
So, one of the options I am exploring is to setup a local vps box, to allow fast local uploads and free up her machine. And then the vps box can manage the upstream tasks.
Cost is a concern, and I am trying to keep it as low as possible.
Does anyone know of any good local vps box hosts in Cambodia that has a fast connection to the Singapore / Thailand datacenters.
Thanks!
Cheers 🍻

Although I cannot really recommend them due to a lack of professionalism (their IPv6 is still not reliable), maybe @tothost is an option? They are located in Hanoi, Vietnam.

I'll check them out. thanks.
LightNode
They have a presence in Phnom Penh and Bangkok.
You can use @LightNode

Thank you, using HITOT code - discount 20% for your first time payment.
you can check this https://www.readyidc.com/en/ but it's in thailand. super cheap and they are using modern servers (sapphire rapids / epyc 2nd 3rd gen.)
+1 for ReadyIDC. They are the Thai version of Hetzner.
Lucky coincidence... 🪴 Was just about to sign for a small package with ReadyIDC to test the service... Will try LightNode & ReadyIDC, and will update this thread. Thanks for the responses 🫡
