No, it is not enough. Krebs is an experienced professional, but during the cyber war, he unfortunately cannot be objective. Look at these articles:

    https://ria.ru/20210908/kiberataki-1749149024.html
    https://www.forbes.ru/tekhnologii/484230-kak-hakery-vedut-svou-vojnu-protiv-rossii

VPN services are popular in the world because many users cannot access the required information from their real IP addresses due to restrictions imposed by country or ISP owners, companies, or governments. Additionally, VPNs provide an additional layer of security for ordinary internet users and businesses.

Krebs only tells one side of the story. Unfortunately, we do not have journalist of same level professionality who can explain what happen from other side.

All hosts have offers of inexpensive services that are used by spammers and hackers. For example, we had many unpleasant incidents with spammers from Morocco and Nigeria. We were forced to completely block registration for these countries. But these aren't the only countries; many bad customers are also registered from the Baltic States, India and China. I'm sure that many hosts can also complain about other countries too. Of course, it isn't about countries, it's about specific malicious users.

They are legitimate. Their companies are registered in Moldova, the UK and Russia, and they have plenty of money. They started expanding around the world not so long ago, and as a relatively young company, they may have been subject to black PR from their competitors (I suspect that this is what I saw in a PR attack against them in Russia, for example, here: https://searchengines.guru/en/forum/1098639).

PS. But as young company and quickly growing they may do mistakes in their expansion. That is explain why some real customers unsatisfied.

They are scammers, known to host criminals and do criminal stuff. If you are ok to support such activities - go ahead.

Any proof? From what I see, you just post negative comments on each and every post and comment that is related to Russia. Even though PQ is basically not Russian, they are just not Russophobic.

Nope, they are defently not Russians.

They just like to run their company after Russian laws despite it's registered in other countries.

    Nothing to see here. :D

    Legal requirements
Further details on meeting Russian Federation legal requirements:
Respect for the privacy and security of data you store with "PQ HOSTING PLUS" S.R.L. & Stark Industries Solutions Ltd underpins our approach to complying with these legal requests. When we receive a legal request, our team reviews the request to make sure it satisfies legal requirements and our policies. Generally speaking, for us to comply, the request must be made in writing, signed by an authorized official of the requesting agency and issued under an appropriate law. If we believe a request is overly broad, we'll seek to narrow it. We notify users about legal demands when appropriate, unless prohibited by law or court order.

The government needs legal process—such as a subpoena, court order or Federal Security Service order—to force "PQ HOSTING PLUS" S.R.L. & Stark Industries Solutions Ltd to disclose user information.

A detailed description of Federal Law #152-FZ on Personal Data can be found here: http://pd.rkn.gov.ru/authority/p146/p164/

    Data retention
We keep logs of Clients' activity and Personal Data for at least 36 months. This is done to comply with Federal Law #152-FZ on Personal Data but most important for the purpose of diagnosing and fixing problems, which are often reported to us weeks or months after they occur. While traffic logs are normally kept for 12 months.

As I said, they are a young company and it's possible that they make mistakes. Because 152FZ is the Federal law, and:

    1) This law cannot be used outside the territory of the Russian Federation.
    2) Paragraph 1) contradicts the first two phrases:

When we say "we", "us", and " PQ HOSTING PLUS " we're referring to "PQ HOSTING PLUS" S.R.L. & Stark Industries Solutions Ltd acting under ###Moldova Republic legislation.

I am more than sure that their web designers combine a few documents into one, and the documents were from different legislation :) That is, of course, a mistake. But, anyway, they are more trustworthy than many people registered as Delaware corporations.

I used them for several months and had no issues. But unfortunately I had to let my account expire as I could no longer process payments through their gateway, I just got errors. Would go back in a heartbeat if I could get my payments to go through.

Also according to Tor metrics they host 28 Tor servers which makes them good guys in my book.
