For anything: quality of service, attitudes/behavior of support, overall impressions. I have not had the best time with Njalla, but I realize that my experience is not universal.

I am looking at offshore (but not necessarily DMCA-ignored) hosting and domain providers, focusing on their reputation for honoring free speech.

I have a couple of domains with FlokiNET. I never had any issues with them myself, but they used to have a clause in their TOS that forbade "COVID-19 misinformation" in the past, which somewhat concerned me while advertising as "free speech" at the same time.

That is indeed one of the concerns I've seen raised with them. While my goal is not to distribute medical information or misinformation, have you noticed any political biases or prejudices on FlokiNET's end?

floki = leftwing. german dude from piratenpartei (piratparty) is behind floki.

Freedom of Speech? We allow it in our Republic of Moldova.
The Constitution of Moldova guarantees freedom of speech! :)

We're not the police to determine what kind of free speech is hate speech or not, we leave that to the courts, the police and other legal entities.

We must obey to local laws where the servers are.
Then Freedom of Speech (left, right, center etc is allowed)

Pay with Crypto to avoid KYC.

Before order, make sure that you reach with us about your project if you have any questions or doubts.

    Best Regards,

Great summary, thank you! Do you have any idea for how often BuyVM restocks the smaller (512 MB and 1 GB RAM) plans?

    https://www.google.com/search?q=buyvm+notifer

As far as I know, Las Vegas (512MB) was restocked on the following dates:
    3/19, 3/26, 3/27, 4/8, 4/9, 4/11, 4/15, 4/19, 4/22, 4/25, 4/30, 5/3, 5/8, 6/7, 6/9, 6/11, 6/13.

Damn, I better be faster next time!

Hehehe, if you need a 512MB Las Vegas one, I can transfer my service to your account. You need to pay for the remaining time plus small fees.

Kicked out? Lmao. They will just hijack your nameservers and then tell you to BTFO. This aligns very well with Peter’s communistic views: 'It's not your domain, it's OUR domain!'

Yup, domains get "stolen" because you use it for stuff they don't like.

I was more thinking if I don't want to have any personal info available like whois.
Well, I guess I should look somewhere else then.

I did look some at Incognet some people mention here, but I cant find if they have some dns management. But I guess a domain hoster should have that? I mean it cant be possible someone need to create tickets each time one want to add/update records.

Or do you know someone else who doesnt need personal info?

    @MannDude

We require no PII, just an email. The portal should be geo-blocked from sanctioned countries already.

We have DNS management for domains but it's a bit wonky of a system, but improving soon. Currently, after your domain is processed, you may request free basic DNS / email / shared web-hosting. The system will be improved soon, I've just been busy working on the VPN stuff.

Currently domains are processed twice daily, but with more help getting onboarded soon the wait time for domain orders should decrease. This is mainly to prevent obvious phishing domains like "support-coinbase.xyz" or "chasebankloginportal.com" or something obviously malicious and illegal that would get locked by our main registrar InternetBS.

We do what Njala does, which is resell domain names. So basically we're just acting as a proxy between you and the registrar. While we are accredited via CentralNIC for a small number of worthwhile TLDs, we've yet to sell from it as it's not yet integrated into WHMCS.

For sure. We just find most people use 3rd party DNS already, such as Cloudflare, HE.net, cloudns, etc, etc.

If you want to use our nameservers, that's fine too, but it's just a relatively watered down DirectAdmin account that gives you super basic web hosting, email and access to the DNS hosting which is just a geographically diverse two server cluster at the moment.

I added a button to make it easier to request this as a temporary measure until I get around to tackling more of the DNS updates:

Very funny, actually. It takes them ages to take down C2s and malware in general since a non-Indian has to look at it. Phishing is otherwise taken down in about 5 minutes.

I use IncogNET for my domains and hosting of my main website. For the domains that are not on IncogNET's shared hosting, I registered custom nameservers and pointed them to my VPS (which has its own DNS server set up), where I manage DNS records. You could also point nameservers to someone like Cloudflare, if you wanted.

And if I recall correctly, @MannDude is currently developing an in-house DNS management system for IncogNET.
