Thats free
yes he speaks about the old solution
DDoS-Manager, you used the old solution, there is no "Manager" where you can set it. Migration to our new solution started a few months ago.
But you confirm right, that I had to ask you twice to disable this anti-ddos?
It was not that you disabled it immediately
Well, our servers are DDoS protected, if you want it to be permanently deactivated (i.e. not automatically activated!), so you don't need DDoS protection, then you have to let us know, which we did after your last request and also communicated.
But as I said, this is not a support thread, if you have any questions, please contact our support directly, we will get back to this thread as soon as the Paypal cases are closed.
I just mean that your accusation was not correct because I had to contact you twice.
So you lie that I contacted once and you solved the problem. The problem persisted.
Maybe one day
I really don't think the LE* crowd would enjoy our offers, but it'd be fun to do a yearly deal in APAC once our network upgrades are complete and we have a few more upstreams added. We're aiming to have this completed in a few months, and will end up with a blend of Datapacket/CDN77, PCCW, Lumen, and GSL in Singapore.
why are you coming around with this story 5 months after you stopped using eid server? are you up to something malicious?
Just remembered. I did not need this kind of anti-ddos, it was not advertised on the promo page.
But in reality they are protecting the Internet from you. And they do it false positively, making it impossible to use the server.
Hehehe, yeah, it's not that easy to please LET. People are way too premium around here but in the end it's really easy. All you'd need to do is prepare a deal that pushes you on the edge of bankruptcy and when you think about it all of this makes a lot of sense. On one hand you'll collect some of the most bitchy clients possible while all the effort required to stay afloat will be a great learning experience. I think it's totally win-win and a great opportunity, which you shouldn't skip on.
FYI in addition to scam, this company also sends debt collectors

When you don't like this, don't do a contract with them - that's perfectly normal, agreed upon and in the TOS.
And this has been discussed numerous times and has got nothing to do with this thread.
FYI: that's only for PHP-Friends, Avoro is prepaid.
Look at the title
Avoid Avoro.eu, php-friends,I do not understand why you defend these scammers. Ok, your reasons.
I just want to warn other LET users who are used to cancelling by nonpayment.
I'm sure people are aware. Always deal with caution with contracted-purchases.
Yes, and ... ? (BTW, OP only rented servers from Avoro, PHP-Friends' servers are according to @dataforest running on different physical nodes.)
That's fine. I just wanted to say it isn't something unexpected or uncommon.
In theory, it sounds good, but it's always the same story.

Someone assumes they can cancel by not paying, but they had signed a contract, didn't read the conditions and now have to honor the contract and pay and complain about it. In PHP-Friends' TOS is clear to read:
which translates to:
isn't it the same scam on phpfriends site?
https://php-friends.de/vserver-ssd
The same dedicated cores for 10 euro.
Nope. PHP-Friends has the old servers and @dataforest says since February that the new servers will soon™ come to PHP-Friends.
PHP-Friends' current server have less cores (Avoro 9€/Month 4 cores, PHP-Friends 2 cores), older CPUs and slower disks (local instead of CEPH).
And your constant usage of 'scam' is a bit irritating.
Are you sure php friends sell dedicated cores for 4.5 euro per core?
I have the same question.
In you prev comments you said you canceled your 9 servers months ago and got refunded, but you are planning to buy more next BF?
Now you’re saying they’re coming after you?
Are you the OP? 🤷♂️
What do you mean? 9€/2 ≈ 4.5€ and their definition/understanding of dedicated cores is known.
Word fraud would be more suitable for you?
They try to mislead people on php friends site.
They write
AMD EPYC 7452
2 dedizierte Kerne
7452 has 32 cores
Their website does not specify the meaning of core anywhere. They might be providing threads.
Hetz explains here the meaning of vCPU (they do not call it core)
https://docs.hetzner.com/cloud/servers/faq/
So, by listing the processor name followed by the number of cores, they are trying to mislead buyers with this kind of advertising.
You are completely confused, I am a different buyer
I did not refund.
I'm sure you could ask them if you really are interested in this.
And first you have this assumption, then you go directly to a conclusion (next quote) based entirely on your assumption.
Wouldn't say so. Buyer gets nearly no steal and can use the CPU 100% 24/7 if he wants to.
https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/3966817#Comment_3966817
I meant OP fled with a refund. I did not ask.
So even, even on php friends it is not dedicated
People share their opinions on the forum. Informally.
I shared mine. They can prove the opposite - so it would be good to consider this company for future orders.
Nope, I won't buy the next BF
Avoro closed my account for criticism.
@dataforest
Why did you close my account? What kind of rule in your TSO did I violate?
I shared a ticket with you as you requested.
A bit steal is unavoidable:
But this:
is not an opinion but a claim.
And BTW, I'm planning to rent a virtual server from them and this thread changed absolutely nothing about that.
Well i wasnt planning on buying more vms but now i wanna check out avoro.
So what’s the deal to contact us again if something did not w> @Gulf said:
Hi, no criticism is of course allowed, but we do not do business with customers who accuse us of fraud or spread untruths in forums. You are welcome to send us open and honest criticism at any time - as many have already done.
Incidentally, the issue has been resolved. Paypal has decided in our favor and the customer will receive his refund today (as discussed).
