You're using Hostslick, right? Please don't call that "Amsterdam"; it's a 200 km distance from Amsterdam...

ColocationX Ltd. is a network offering internet connectivity, Server Colocation/Racks, and Unmanaged Dedicated Servers with Datacenters in Amsterdam.
    https://colocationx.com/

OK, now that's a bit strange then. I suspected Hostslick datacenter because of the latency I experience to your test IP (observed from several Amsterdam DCs); also, when I look at the BGP and traceroute it's going exact the same route (also checked from several Amsterdam DCs)

    Can you explain that?

I haven't said nothing about HostSlick, I just gave you the datacenter's website, they said they are in Amsterdam. Also, all evidence shows that this is Amsterdam, please check the ASN and IPs whois.

    Host : ColocationX DC3
Location : Amsterdam, North Holland (NH)
    Country : The Netherlands

And yes, we thank @HostSlick for their help.
They helped us to open this location.

Could be, but my indication is that the latency to your testIP matches that of the HostSlick LG IP (193.142.146.46). Also, that latter one is announced by AS208046.

Basically, I don't care. Latency is important for me, and that's why I'm looking at it. And then a difference of less than 1 ms (from most Amsterdam DC's) to this one (over 4ms) is a big difference. So this offer isn't for me.

And yes, I'm aware of the "relation" between HostSlick and ColocationX.

Why I reacted? Because I see lots of offers for "Amsterdam" while they are not really. But if it's in proximity, it doesn't matter. However, I've also seen people who are hosted @HostSlick in Limburg claiming they are in Amsterdam, while they are definitely not...

The route from my home is the same for both hosts, but it's 35ms to VPSforVPN and 38ms to HostSlick, with one additional hop before it reach my vps. It's close, but not exactly the same.

    VPSforVPN VPS:
