  • Great deal! One additional question before I place my order, do you own a proper license to WHMCS for your site? I tried heymann.com and support.heymann.com on WHMCS's UI and didn't pull up anything. Had to ask since it's the first time this account posted a deal on this site.

    Thanks!

  • Oh, and do you also possibly have a looking glass somewhere for this location?

I use this company, it's very good!
It's weird about the WHMCS, but they have been advertising for a long time on another platform. If they weren't legit, they would've been booted by now.

I think they are a solid reliable company so far.

It's support.heymman.com (double m). Everyone makes the same mistake. Interestingly, the correct domain also shows as unauthorized. We use the same owned license since 2013. My understanding is that this is a lifetime license. I verified that the domain and IP address on their side is valid.

Placed my order and the service provisioned in 20 minutes. Don't have time to test the actual server yet but everything looked good.
The support staff is also friendly and helped with the IPMI ACL pretty fast.
FYI: You might want to reach out to them and request to configure a ACL on the IPMI interface, since exposing the IPMI interface to public network & have a weak password (To their credit, the default password is pretty strong) is not a good idea.

Well... It does say "LIMITED INVENTORY" for the $25 deal... I wonder if they ran out of the amount they planned to sell at that price.
Sorry, I don't really know, I am just making guesses.

Also, the $0.60 for every extra IP is amazing.

Install windows. Activate hyper-v or install virtualbox. Bridge the connection to virtual network. Install other OS in VM.

Demand was unexpectedly explosive. We sold as many units yesterday evening (after advertizing here) than we did during the past 8 days (advertizing this same deal on another forum). We decided to increase the price to $29 when we reached that point. This $4 makes a big difference for us (given the volume), but it has killed demand. I do not understand the extreme price sensitivity, but I get that the flip-flopping is disturbing. We may or may not revisit $25. Those who were onboarded at $25 will retain this price. Thanks everyone.

$25 dedi deals are rare, $30 ones not by far as much. At $30 it's not really far below Hetzner and a couple US companies also run $30 deals pretty regularly. That $5 is the difference between (seemingly justified) FOMO and "Oh look, another $30 deal...".

Yeah this is true. At $30 it's pretty much a standard offer, but definitely not at $25. I myself would grab it at $25 even though I don't necessarily have any use case for it.

Yeah, even i would think about it for a minute and i 150% don't an US server. I mean, hell... At $25 with IPs at $0.60 each it could be a $28 dedi with 6 IPs... I'd still have no use but damn... idling 6 IPs is serious business in itself :D
