    Under stress test, 2GB memory is NOT the limiting factor
    Data transfer rate is pretty good, but it seems that either cpu core resources are capped or host node is pretty busy

    @SebekVPS
    Any feedback on my vps testing and observations ?

    what feedback do you want on that?
    it's your testing and I'm not supposed to comment on it.

    Posting my observation again

    cpu resources are capped

    overall this provider won't be on my recommended provider list.

    Actually no, 40% of CPU resources are free, so it would be better to show top output and st value

    Because it's not 100% free resources, it's only 40%.
    You can check the % of CPU steal and I think you have already seen it because you don't show the result.
    Although your words contradict your own words right now "if the performance of the VPS stays at 50-60% of raw GB6 score, then it is pretty good" , so I can't understand the objectivity of your testing.
    You're comparing, not showing results.
    Why are you comparing something where you don't know why the result is the way it is? I know, that's why I'm writing this.

  • if 1659 = 40 %
    then 4148 = 100 % -> that would be a world record gb6 for this processor ;)

    stress --cpu 2

    when the processor is loaded on a node, the turbo boost frequency drops, that's why the results are not the same as on an empty node ;)

    The to and fro between @SebekVPS and @dev_vps gave the vibes of this scene. Could never guess if dev_vps was going to recommend the provider with all the fanfare or if SebekVPS was going to explode any moment by getting annoyed with all the GB6 numbers and comparisons. :lol:

    Thank you. :D
    I needed this for Monday at 5pm.

    Coming back to the topic -
    I can't recommend VPS for Windows OS as the cpu feels about 30-35% weaker at all times. Therefore I was using the term capped with cpu resources.

    The data rate is pretty good and this is excellent for running wireguard with my specific use case. I don't need much cpu resources.

    And for $1.40 / month, this VPS is much much much much much much ...... much better than 10 euro/year vps from that premier data center.

    Thanked by 1_MS_

    The to and fro between @SebekVPS and @dev_vps gave the vibes of this scene. Could never guess if dev_vps was going to recommend the provider with all the fanfare or if SebekVPS was going to explode any moment by getting annoyed with all the GB6 numbers and comparisons. :lol:

    seems like an insult.
    as I am not making excuses and I write what really happens in real operating conditions

    This GB5 score is actually pretty good.

    And GB6 single-core score is actually pretty close to single core score of 7950x VPS
