Oh and ip-projects.de
@Mark_R dear OP, i had opened a similar thread long time ago, (=bump) no good answer comes up mostly. you can check out seflow.it they sometimes have promos. there was one more provider, probably germany-based, was heard of here in letscene, but cannot remember. cheap dedis were avail. maybe it dp'd.
Seflow.it is really good but alot of the good deals are sold out pretty fast!
EDIT:
thinking about seflow.it or i3d.net right now
but maybe someone else knows a even better deal?! please share your knowledge.
Edis offers a cheap Dedi too but still over my budget
maybe interesting for someone else
http://www.edis.at/en/server/dedicated-root-server/austria/dedicated-eco-server/
in the end i went with seflow.it
they had a great deal going on.. i couldn't resist to exceed my own budget.
Link your Paypal to a Virtual VISA by default, and load it up only just before the 1st of every month. Problem solved.
I've been using Online.net for the past 6 months and it's been great/
where do you get a virtual visa? is it available for europeans?
Entropay.com. Yes.
Also might want to look at http://contabo.com - they're "OK"
lol
Setup fees are terrible though. they where previously known as giga international
spam!1!11 O:
Wow! they charge 5.60 € / 6.78 € (inc. VAT) for each additional ip and a shared 100Mbit line at "aggregation 1:10" in a price of 21.78 € for an atom with 250GB hdd
Datashack or VolumeDrive
read the thread title again.. EU only.
Your expectations are extremely unrealistic for Europe.
Thanks for your "input"
Only remaining places I can think of are leaseweb or oneprovider. We've pretty much exhausted all the EU providers worth buying from. You'll have to pay more or get a vps if none of them work for you.
Yes, i noticed this, if you do not want to deal with french providers then you have to pay some more
i got one from seflow at 25 euros now, it exceeds my budget but its still cheap compared to other decent providers.
There are also:
Server4You are quite good in my experience if using their European location. It doesn't look like they meet your exact requirements though.
I had a Ukraine VPS, it was down all the time. Wouldn't recommend.
i've found the right provider for me
but this is not where i wanna end this thread,
we really need more choices in the EU that are low budget
if anyone could help digging those hosts up then that would be great, i cannot believe we have all of them yet.
lol
@mark_r may i know which one ? seflow.it ?
Can I ask why you'd want to stay away from OVH, Online.net and Hetzner?
http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/430817/#Comment_430817
i've made this clear multiple times but sureee
Online.net http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/430172/#Comment_430172
also bad support, very careless, ignorant.
OVH i already mentioned that i do not like to deal with french companies
their support is ignorant to everyone who doesnt speak their language, you could say im just not a big fan of this country and its people.
another reason that makes me not wanna use ovh is their so called "VAC" anti-ddos system, i've seen alot of negative posts about it, its interrupting alot of traffic and it isnt activated 24/7 so theres no real use for it if you run for example a gameserver and it gets attacked, it still will drop all connected players, VAC will activate usually x mins later.. not effective.
Hetzner last time i checked they didn't had paypal as paymethod (CC only)
Yes, this is true if you only have anti ddos standard.
But if you pay for Anti DDoS Pro, you can activate and deactivate VAC using their API.
I am protecting a gameserver with it, and it works great, no disconnects.
It´s active 24/7.
how much extra do you need to pay for "Anti DDoS Pro" ?
