What's the cheapest domain extension, considering renewals as well? i.e., cheapest 2-year price.
Porkbun has .vip for $3.07 1st year, $5.13 renewal.

The lowest renewal cost TLD is .stream and .click at $3/year renewal.
Alternatively, you can get a six to nine digit all numerical domain name for 67 cents a year (including renewals) at Spaceship. You can prepurchase up to 10 years.
Just curious, what’s it for?
Any reason for you not going for those cheap numeric
.xyz
domains? Is it safe to get .xyz domain from gen.xyz?
Why not?
They are the registry for
.xyz
.I don't want something like Freenom.
Spaceship is less expensive. You'll pay 67 cents per year at Spaceship versus 99 cents at gen.xyz
.xyz is a real registry that owns its own TLD (actually more than one) from ICANN and has relationships with most ICANN accredited registrars, that are reselling. xyz domains.
I've been using lowend.party for example tutorials ever since I got one of those 10-year pre-pay deals Porkbun had back in 2017.
But now I'm going to update my NSD tutorial and since I have real stuff running on lowend.party I don't want to disturb its DNS, so...another domain for tutorials is needed.
Yeah, Spaceship is cheaper.
I have some at Namecheap, but they’re $0.85 I think.
The ironic part is that Spaceship is a NameCheap brand.
Exactly.
Well at least there’s something cheaper than Namecheap that’s still Namecheap
Do you guys recommend Spaceship though?
I'm very satisfied.
Same.
No complaints, so far
.my.id 15.000 IDR (1 USD)
tld-list.com, select single level to remove some of the junk and sort by cheapest register/renew as needed.
I don't like to get stuck between a rock and a hard place on year 2 so I usually go for cheapest renew, currently that looks like this:
Typically I will go for
.link
,.party
or.date
, but there are quite a few choices so whatever floats your boat.Overall pretty good for me, interface sucks though but for the price it's easy to look past it.
Spaceship is pretty good and would've been among the best registrars to ever exist if they went for a minimal UI, still works great tho, would recommend.
I choose .cc
do spaceship offering free Domain Privacy like namecheap? i got my numeric .xyz with that feature for $0.84/year from namecheap, nice to have.
Yes.
.uz (registered at local registrar) is 17000 uzs≈1.6 usd
Nice offer
Which registrar did you register with?
I registered at ahost.uz
you could buy my.id from Idcloudhost its only 1$/year
I like .nl
Me too
I get mine from Vimexx.
I prefer .uk which costs only around $5/year as well as renewal. It's a trustworthy TLD that doesn't look spammy.
