Is it possible to get 1 Gbps and IPv6 in Canada ?
I don't need unlimited bandwidth. Just 1-2 TB per month is fine.

  • How is a "NAT" VPS different than non-NAT?

not much, the number of ports available are limited.

So what makes it a "NAT" VPS?

It means that there's no dedicated public IPv4 address. It's shared via NAT, like your home network (multiple systems use one public IPv4 address). You get a few forwarded ports, but NAT VPSes are generally designed to be IPv6-primary, meaning you connect to them via IPv6 and the IPv4 is only really for outbound IPv4 connectivity to legacy non-IPv6 servers.

Non-nat VPS basically you have your own dedicated ipv4 address while NAT-vps you are sharing an IPv4 address with your neighbors.

So the reason why you have limited ipv4 ports is due to the fact that you are sharing it with multiple people.

The work order is too slow, once a day. A few days didn't solve the problem.

  • can i set up UDP NAT?

You have to ask the support to enable UDP ports. They're disabled by default.

Does the dedicated ipv6 include /64 block?
Will I be able to create ipv6 subnets within the control panel for ovz?

  • simonindiasimonindia Member

@AK_KWH Team, I bought a NAT VPS in India which is running Debian 12 but I can't reach any of the IPv4 UDP ports.

I have removed all the firewall rules and UFW just to make sure I have nothing blocking. Can you please check I'm on the 192.168.1.x/24 Subnet.

And for future references if you can use different subnet that would be great as this has great potential to conflict with a lot of local pre-configured LANs.

I can open a ticket if it is isolated to just me.
