hotsnow - No, the existing client promotion that's currently active does not apply to any of these plans.

Due to the massive amount of orders we've received, Xen is now out of stock. Sorry guys

What about people who have already ordered?

  • nobe question

Oh, the Offer should be posted someday before. Got 100GB Space VPS at $30 from Crissic -- Why all these happen with me --

  • Are tor relay nodes allowed?

Merryxmas codes on your homepage have expired, by the way.

How long the Promo will active ??

  • One question - what exactly does "burstable" mean ?

I got Special #2 and is showing 1GB RAM. What happens if my program tries to allocate memory above "guaranteed" 512M ?

Does it mean I am allowed to momentarily allocate up to 1G, but should not hold it for long ? Makes sense though, sometimes when doing an operation on huge object, say serialize(), it will create another huge object which can be discarded almost immediately after the string is saved on disk. I run into this issue before that I need to keep my RAM usage at half available RAM sometimes otherwise I am not able to save.

Can someone confirm what exactly "burstable" mean ? What happens if a LAMP stack keeps using full 1GB without releasing it ? Thanks

If there is any chance of suspension for accidentally holding full RAM for long, I think I would be more comfortable with Swap area instead.

the editor here uses Markdown .. just add 4 spaces before the output you wanted to paste and it'll be in a yellow box :)

  • Oh, thanks :)

  • Appears the I/O of one of our nodes was literally murdered a while ago, everything should be fixed though now. It came back to life ;)

    Thanked by 1isalem
  • I ordered one Xen vps when the offer came out. Got refunded as they werent able to provide me a working xen vps :(

  • NY2 is our only Xen node and we only have like 2 or 3 blocks of IPs. Some IPs are defective and we're fresh out of clean IPs until Jan 1st or 2nd. We're refunding clients with defective IPs.
