three improvement proposals for your Debian 12 template:
1. change PubkeyAuthentication from no to yes in etc.ssh.sshd_config to allow login by ssh key
2. clean bash history (finding strange commands from your template tunning in history makes wondering if it is already used VPS or somebody hacked in)
3. limit client machines access to Proxmox host dmesg logs
