The saving grace is that symmetric plans don't exist for residential plans so the connection is likely on NBN EE which may be a separate fibre line ran.
Not only that, but foxes and fruitcakes.
Sorry,correct now
The foxes will eat the chickens
Thats the truth.
Thanks
We are new into IDC market.
Thanks.
Yes, I singed a 3 years contract with Exetel and built my garage as a DC with air condition. And install 20kw solar panel as backup power support. all good.
We dont have chicken but two dogs in my home.
I hope these answers clear up your confusion:
I singed a 3 years contract with Exetel and built my garage as a DC
I got my own ASN as AS151964 about 2 month age, bu tmy company already runs 12 years.
Its not a residential NBN fiber; Its a business plan means Nnterprise-class.
The address is my Home/Company located.
Prices and package... I will try send a better one next time.
Thanks
Takes more than two dogs, a solar panel (especially in Melbourne) and aircon to make a DC.
(You also need timber floors - ask OVH)
What do you use as a redundant network link?
I hope the redundant isn't a 4G modem on the Optus network
Let's hope it's а wired dial-up
Exetel offer a 40m/40m wireless connection as backup.
Yes, Thats it. Looks you know much.
Thanks
2 dogs should be able to round up the chickens. 20kw of solar will cook the chickens nicely.
good idea. hope we can share the chicken...if there are chickens.
I will be honest with the amount of trust I have for LET hosters in general, none of these are problems...
I agree, I've worked with much worse providers lol, this is nothing.
So primary and secondary connections both Exetel?
Welcome to Romanistralia!
If it's good enough for Optus, it's good enough for WePC
'yes' #BGP4EVA
All eggs in one basket not so good for the chickens
If OP wasn't running out of a garage, he'd probably be able to source an alternate network provider
Googling Exetel, looks like their 4G/LTE backup is Telstra Wholesale
https://business.exetel.com.au/internet/wireless-backup
And yeah, a three year contract isn't much to boast about since Exetel's probably required that as it's a business connection.
Think of all the large plate chicken that has gone to waste right there..
Too much. I'll offer you 12 knives per year for AU chicken. Also I want some macadamia nuts too.
Have you heard of colocation? An eshay with a baseball bat could bring your entire attempt to pay for Enterprise Ethernet business to its knees. Not to mention the data theft issue if somebody does raid your garage...
Of course colocation is easier and cheaper, I just like to try a DC in my garage.
About safe, I think Melbourne should be safe enough. On the other hand thanks for the reminder, I'll step up on this.
Thanks
Jason
If so, leave your address, I send you one.
On the way...
